As I've mentioned elsewhere its death rate is hard to decipher and is not known for certain. It could be far lower than the 4.5% you mention.

You have to remember that many countries are recording people as having died of coronavirus even though they didn't - they had coronavirus in them but it was something else which killed them.

Many countries are also only mainly recording coronavirus deaths in care homes for the elderly. As the elderly are more vulnerable to dying from the disease then that will also artificially inflate the death rate.

When you take a look at that cruise ship where deaths occurred, however, the death rate was recorded as only 1%.

So it's quite wrong - and again just scaremongering - to state that the death toll from coronavirus is 4.5%. The chances are it's far lower than that.

The only people panicking are the gullible types who believe all the mainstream media hype and scaremongering.
It makes me wonder why those same people never go about their lives panicking about flu, which claims over 600,000 lives every year.
Yet they are panicking over an illness which has claimed just 31,000 lives in a quarter of a year and acting as though it's a major apocalyptic tragedy the likes of which we haven't seen for centuries.
It's stupid.

I'm just following the new laws of the land.

Do you realise that Britain is in lockdown and we aren't allowed out of our homes except to buy food, go for exercise, go to work (but only if you work in an essential industry) and visit a GP or hospital. Millions of people cannot go to work. All schools are shut, blighting children's education.

And even when we do go out, we cannot be in a group of more than two people except if we live in the same household.

The streets are largely deserted out there 24/7, like something from an apocalyptic movie.

All this crazy stuff and the wrecking of the economy just because a few people are getting a cold.

It makes no sense. And I'm going to say this: It's just all very weird. What's going on?

It's the scaremongers to blame for all this, unless something more sinister is going on.

New York City has 32000 cases and over 600 deaths at this point. A New Yorker is dying every 8 and half minutes from covid19.

The single shred of good news I have heard is that AOC represents the most highly infected congressional district in America.

Every miserable old swamp dweller in Washington and around the world is going to have to listen to what she has to tell them about what is happening and what is needed to fix it.

I look for her to be a major voice in American politics going forward.
