For those of you who think a single country won WWII, you are sadly mistaken, it took near a global effort to defeat German Nazism, Italian Fascism and Japanese Imperialism. You guys disgrace the fallen, shame.
Bear with us!

The world loves British television shows.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, for example, is a big fan of Midsomer Murders...
Exports of British shows around the world rake in £1.22 billion for the British economy.
UK small screen means big business: Sales of British TV shows to countries around the globe rake in £1.22billion
Back to the fun.....
I was thinking maybe Canada should offer Barbados the chance to join us as a province as well as T&C.
Under 2 billion USD for your entire industry? Pathetic
I'm not sure what is more pathetic, that their industry is a mere $2 Billion or that we (US) consume 25% of it.
Ewing came to power in Turks and Caicos Islands in November 2012 after a controversial, three-year period of direct rule by British officials in response to alleged corruption and mismanagement of the local TCI administration.
Hands off Turks and Caicos, Canada. They are British territory, just as Devon, Norfolk, the Outer Hebrides or Gwynedd are, and Britain will defend its territory at all costs, as Argentina found out in 1982 when 650 of their soldiers were killed and their government was toppled in defeat.
Why some Canadians are even contemplating the Turks and Caicos islands becoming Canadian territory is a mystery. Britain will NOT hand them over, just as it has told Spain a lot recently to get stuffed over Gibraltar.
You missed it Tober. BL is gonna give the order and the entire British military will jump to invade Canada.
I was trying to find some stats on the Super Bowl and the fees/revenues associated with broadcasting it outside of the US. I am guessing that one event alone would eclipse the UK's entire value
Under 2 billion USD for your entire industry?
Pathetic.
The Super Bowl has recently been overtaken by European football's Champions League Final (which many consider to be European football's equivalent of the Super Bowl) as the world's most watched annual televised event.
Britain is the world's second-biggest exporter of television programmes after the US, so if Britain's TV exports are pathetic then what does that make Canada's and everone else's?
Britain exports more TV programmes to the US and Canada than the US and Canada export to Britain.
It's a pretty poor showing on your behalf. Canadians and Americans like British TV shows more than the British like Canadian and American TV shows.
Maybe in London where there's really nothing better to do, but I'm talking about a global measure
Once you've hit the pinnacle of producing the worlds best show, why bother doing it over and over?
That there is Sergeant Preston and his Wonder Dog King... Action, adventure, mystery, intrigue AND a Wonder Dog !
A Wonder Dog Blackleaf - Do you get that or has the sheer concept completely blown your mind?
Even King is helping - indeed, he is a Wonder Dog.
No, he isn't. He's just sat on his a rse.
He's waiting for his owner to give him a big bone - and considering that he's a Mountie the poor dog may not be given the kind of big bone that he's wanting.
The two greatest superheroes of all time were Bananaman and Dangermouse, two great childhood heroes of mine.
Here's a picture of the Sarge (that's what we like to call him) coming to the rescue of an unfortunate Brit... Even King is helping - indeed, he is a Wonder Dog.

Actually he's arresting Ben Bernaike, Turks and Caicos offshore banking executive ....
If we take the place, where does the UK move those 'pillars of financial; acumen...'
And, I'll say again: No British victory in the Battle of Britain, when Britain was fighting alone after the Froggoes waved the white flag and the US was standing on the sidelines being the appeaser, would not only have meant no D-Day, it would also have meant Germany won WWII.
