And Trudeau wins again as O'Toole fights his own clowns.

Conservative party members vote down resolution to officially recognize climate change

Though the party’s policy declaration already contains a lengthy section on that subject, 54 per cent of delegates voted against expanding it to include the sentence “we recognize that climate change is real. The Conservative Party is willing to act.”

O’Toole had said as much to delegates in a speech Friday night, saying the debate on the reality of climate change must end because it is real.

“I will not allow 338 candidates to defend against the lie from the Liberals that we are a party of climate change deniers,” he said. “We will have a plan to address climate change. It will be comprehensive, and it will be serious.”

Everyone will be denying it soon. Human beings can't accept the World is doomed within 25 years, and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

May as well construct pipelines everywhere.

Cleaner and safe than shipping oil by ships and trains.

Not to mention pipelines have less of an environmental footprint..

The rejected motion included the willingness to act against climate risks and to make highly polluting businesses take more responsibility to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Translated into Flossholian "No Carbon Taxes".

Really , is that your response . That is answering a question with a question , didn’t your mother tell you otherwise ?

It really was that dumb to post something like that in 2021.

Nope.

Can Conservatives recover from being a laughingstock on climate change

It’s one thing for your political opponents to attack you, even demonize you. That’s expected in partisan politics. It’s another thing when your opponents successfully turn you into a laughingstock.

This is the current state of the Conservative Party of Canada, which emerged from its disastrous weekend convention as the sour and wrinkled face of climate change denialism.
