Well the conservatives have managed to prevent the government money getting to the kids for paid volunteer work.
It's a major win for them and they are going to have all sorts of face time over the corruption, but there won't be any ideas for getting that money out there where it's needed.

First it's a minority Gov't (and not a Monarchy) & though the Conservatives got more votes than any other party in the last Federal Election, they ended up with less Seats than the Liberal Party that is currently in power....so alone the Conservatives couldn't have do what you're disingenuously claiming.
Second, there where and are Gov't agencies in place to have dealt with this matter in the Spring, instead of Trudeau (and later it being claimed it was Bardish Chagger & others) that waited until summer to have 'WE' deal with this...& WE wasn't the only entity that was capable of dealing with this matter. The Liberals seemed to have had a plan alright. Such a plan that the Ethics Commissioner is involved again. Yes, "WE"said they got a call from the PMO awarding this single source contract before everyone started backtracking. The Government is doing this like every other dollar of all the other COVID 19 payouts and like the "Canada Summer Jobs Program" like every other year since its inception.
What makes you (& Justin Trudeau until he got caught) claim that the Gov't was incapable of running this program like every other Summer, and every other program around spreading out COVID$$$? The Trudeau Gov't could have gotten onto this in the Spring if it was going to be an issue instead of springing the WE Goat Rodeo upon us in July (School wasn't out in July this year but in March).

Not nearly as good a deal here. Many high schools require "community service" to get a diploma.
Oh OK. In Cuba it's Post-Secondary Education that's paid for in exchange for volunteer time to the Gov't (& everyone does mandatory military service unless excused due to medial reasons or deferred until later due to educational scheduling) as I understood it when it was explained to me.
