Isn't it contraindicative of success that a group wishing acceptance, deny another the same?
If you base your part in a community with accusation of another group, how can you expect to
belong fully?
It seems the eastern provinces have groups with some fulminating unresolved problems and are using thug
tactics to have them resolved - which we all know throughout history it doesn't work. You
cannot threaten other membership into inclusion of your group as a valuable member of the whole with
threats or demonizing another group of rightful participants.

Ha! Up until recently, I harboured that same sort of attitude. No problem with gays, but flamboyance was always pretty irritating. Lately, there's been more diversity in the office and there is some bubbliness going around. But as irritating as it could be, it's just minor buzz now. It's not overt or in your face as the media potrays homosexuals (unless you go to pride, heh) and it's definitely nothing to get really bothered about.
Anyway, the real problem here is the Israelis.
I figure what anyone does in the privacy of their own bedroom is absolutely none of my business.
A gay pride parade would sicken me, however.....so I would simply stay away......something like turning off the TV if there is something you don't like on it. If the gays wish to prance around making damned fools of themselves, well, it is a free country.
BUT, when tax dollars are used to promote a parade, one should not allow anyone to promote hatred.....and the stupid "apartheit" accusation against Israel is simply that: a lie, an attempt to demonize a people, a promotion of hatred.
So, throw the morons out of the parade....let them fund their own procession of idiots.
Israel, BTW, is not the problem.
