In a new video by the Family Policy Institute of Washington, students react to host Joseph Backholm's new 'chosen identity'.
“What if I told you I was Chinese?” Backholm asks a couple of students. To which he is given the reply “I'd think there was a bit of Chinese in you” and “good for you”.

He also told a few students he was 6'5".
“If you truly believed you were 6'5" I don't think it's harmful,” one student said. “I think it's fine if you believe that. It doesn't matter to me if you think you're taller than you are.”

“So you'd be willing to tell me I'm wrong?” Backholm asks. “I wouldn't tell you you're wrong,” the student replies.
Other students were fine with him identifying as a woman and a Chinese woman.
