It symbolizes a lessening of one demographic's influence, and an increase of another's, not the end of their worlds. That's what makes entitled outrage so intriguing. It's perfectly understandable, but it's also often disproportionate to the actual 'threat' they seem to perceive.

Intriguing is something that is a matter of intellectual abstraction. For me, there is no abstraction. My opinion is informed by experience. Do the Britons before the Roman conquest still exist? Not culturally...only genetically. Do the Yue of Guangdong before the Han conquest still exist? Not culturally...only their genes remain.

Ask Tecumshsbones if Shawnee culture still exists in a living and vibrant form. Only Shawnee genes still exist combined with others to create something new. Many Indians tried to accommodate the whites by adopting their ways and Christianity. In the process they lost their identity and became shadows of their former selves.

Cultures can fuse to form new cultures. However, that's not happening in California, except for the creation of latin gangbanger culture. That's hardly a model that should be encouraged or accepted.

Canada is a white country. California isn't. It's changed during my lifetime. The state once had a first rate public school K-12 system. Now California ranks 47th out of 50 states in the second rate American public school system.

Impoverished Mexicans and Central Americans came here at the behest of American Big Business, American Leftism, and Mexican political/economic elites. Big Business got slave labor. Leftism got future voters. And Mexican elites exported poverty. They took the jobs of low skilled Americans who wanted and deserved a living wage. Now low skilled Americans are dependent on govt. handouts. They have been transformed. In the process the Americans have become a degraded people. They no longer even adhere to their former creed. They are lost.

Yes I recall and I thought is nonsense then as I do now. We don't need to change
our ways then or now. I am getting sick of bending to accommodate every Tom, ****
and Harry who comes here. Up until the last year I have had some sympathy for
multiculturalism but even that is starting to wear thin.
Another thing, we need to change immigration law to reflect our goals a bit. We should
allow people in and perhaps even first family (Mother, Father, and Children) only not the
extended family. All extended family should come on merit not reunification.
Those who lie on forms or use fraudulent methods should be deported of discovery no
appeals just gone. Those who come should be on a ten year probation citizenship
and if they commit a crime deport them. Gang participants deportation regardless of age.

that really are not white at all, Indo Canadians, Chinese and some whites
as well. I am not all that Christian either as I see religion as a business more
than a faith these days.
Color has never been an issue save for the radical Muslims moderates are
fine. Multiculturalism works sparing but hey I can get along with anyone.
The true essence of multiculturalism is not working as the groups are fighting
over who gets the top billing on traditions instead of sharing them that is the

Both my ex-wives are Hispanic.. there are more and more mixed marriages and mixed children.. soon we will all be a dark beige.

Personally I think some of the most beautiful people in the world are of mixed races..

The one positive thing about the influx of Mexicans and Central Americans into California is their desire to improve the lives of their people will come into conflict with environmentalism.
