Time for people to realize that wide spread industrial technology and the natural state of man are polar opposites. I keep hearing that technology can be used for good or evil and that right there is the trap... beyond localized handmade technology it IS evil.. putting us into a system of man rather than a system of creation... not a popular idea I know, and the violent reaction i get when bringing this up I think in itself testifies that this is true and the level of addiction present is stronger than any 'drug' ever known to man.. as I've said unwaveringly since the inception of this group and long before.. it will not change until the cedars grow up through the crumbling ruins.... period.... the crisis is here.. it's been building at least from the first 'City State' probably Sumer some 8000 years ago... made it's way to Europe and eventually to North America and the rest of the world... accelerating exponentially starting in the late 19th century and culminating into what we have today.. and this is no accident! This 'crisis' that people are talking and talking about.. what they'll do when 'shit hits the fan'.. when it's been hitting it the whole time and we're so used to splattering feces sold to us as progress that we never knew the difference as we shovel more and more into the whirling blades.... - Jeff Lariviere

Cliffy's problem?

He won't be happy until we're all wearing red headbands like Loverboy's Mike Reno, and belting out 'Turn Me Loose'.

I always tell my teenage daughters...

"You won't care what anybody thinks of you when you're 30 years old, so why not start now?"
