I meant it in the context of giving comfort to the terrorists (who by the way deliberately kill innocent women and children) by calling them freedom fighters.

Comforting the terrorists while our troops are there fighting in my book amounts to treason.

What I meant Rev was that it is still illegal to harbor, support or give comfort in any way to the terrorists. She was clearly giving comfort.

Hussein was and is a loose cannon. The question is why Bush daddy didn't get him the first time. His army was few miles from his palace.

Bush the father was a prez at the time of the first gulf war and before that was the VP. Now what I stated is hard to prove, their war is even harder to prove. Liberate Kuwait after telling Hussein through their Ambassador to Iraq that this is a Arab issue and the US does not interfere in regional matters.

It was the sign for their puppet at that time (Hussein) to take revenge and restore his 19th province. He wasn't aware that the Americans were setting the trap for him.

And the story still unfolds. The Bush family is worse than Hussein a million times. Dirty bastards, baby killers, Hitler friends.

Cindy Sheehan's crime is that she is giving discomfort to the enemy — George Bush— and anyone following or supporting him in his illegal war.

I have trouble seeing the troops over in Iraq as heros, no matter how courageously they fight and die.

How can one honour a dupe?

That is the worst of it. Bush has sent brave men and women out to die in a cause which cannot even win them an honourable death. He has even stolen that from them!

Bush is the enemy, alright, and it takes a heap of courage for an American to stand up to their president. That is especially true when he cowers in the midst of a vast mob of protectors and enablers, while sending his bootlickers out to vilify and make execrable false charges against her.

That Cindy Sheehan continues to do so makes her a real, modern day, American Heroine.

While MonkeyBoy, with all the powers vested in his office, cannot summon up the cojones to stand under his own power and face one grieving mother who thinks his war is a sham.

What a pusillanimous piece of excrement the creature is!

How so, Jimmoyer? I feel I've weighed both sides of the situation and have come away even more discouraged by Bush's actions. It's not my son that got blown to bits for a questionable cause, so I'm not that emotionally invested. I want to see the truth of the situation, and everything is pointing toward Bush being wrong. Enlighten me.

I asked Nascar to, but he was unable to offer anything more than opinion. Show me something that will help me respect Bush. If you read my earlier post, you will see that I am desparately looking for something to grasp onto that will let me sleep at night knowing a super power like the US isn't being run by a moron. So far I have been shown nothing. Give me a reason to respect the man. Please.

Answer - there is no moral equivilancy between a mother's anquish for the loss of her son and a meglomaniac president who defies international laws to destroy another country, murder masses of its citizens and lay claim to their resources. Gain some perspective.

Answer - you should be clear about the subject of your discussion. Is it Sheehan or Saddam??? Trying to morph a discussion into something entirely different is not going to work. It insults anyone who is trying to understand or reach consensus. It is the cheapest technique of propaganda (??non sequator arguement??) Not sure of the spelling but it is basically shifting the focus of discussion when your position proves untenable. You use this technique so often it becomes tiresome.

If it is Sheehan, then you have done an injustice to an American attempting to take expression of her constitutional rights. This would make you an enemy of the state would it not? Get a moral compass.

If it is Saddam, then have the guts to admit that it was America that propped up his regime for almost 3 decades, condoning his treatment of the Iraqi population and contributed to his war efforts in Iran. The needless slaughter and neglect of so many Iraqis is on America's head.
