Why is it always about Christians vs. Muslims? Shouldn't it be about serious threat to a peaceful society?
There are bad people who claim to be of some religious persuasion in every group. It's just that there are more bad people claiming to be Muslims.

I don't think anybody is dumping on Christians. They are dumping on hypocrites. That you seem to think the two words are synonyms is telling
