Actually I am happy not to be American if for no other reason than every time we
see an event from there they all have their hand over the heart and the flag is
waving, and like parrots they recite their anthem. Here we just stand up and sing
it, as quickly as possible so we can get on with it. We don't wave the flag every
ten minutes. Instead we paint it on our face so we can hold a beer in both hands.
He is welcome to his opinion though

Now this was one dumb post. Seriously... it was stupid.

I'd never heard of him either and it turns out he's from the rasslin crowd.

I guess that's his attempt to get canadian rasslin fans all worked up and to attend any matches featuring him so that that fine canadian rasslin crowd can let him know how they feel

Smart marketing..............

Who the hell is Chris Jericho and why should I give a shyte what he thinks?

Never mind. Just looked him up. He's a moron. P

Wow! This was a blast from the past(WCW is loooooooong gone!). Chris Jericho was playing the classic "heel". Even though he is Canadian, he was a "villain" at the time, so he would try to get cheap heat by any means necessary. If that meant belittleing his home country, then that is what he would do. Since the show took place in Toronto that particular week, it was pretty obvious that he would go that route.

It's a cycle in the wrestling world. There was a time in WWE that he joined up with other Canadians and formed a group. It had Edge, Christian, Lance Storm, etc. in it, and they entered the ring waving the Canadian flag. It was all in good fun in the end.

Actually, the last I watched wrestling, Vince McMahan had the Canadian wrestlers get introduced as being from the American cities that they currently lived in rather than what their true nationalities were. For example, Edge was hailed as being from Atlanta even though he was still Canadian. I thought it was pretty lame on McMahan's part, but what can you do?

This post is for anyone that didn't know who Chris Jericho is (was).:)
