I'm not outraged at all. I'm disappointed by the weak, overly sensitive moonbats that think they are doing somebody else a favour they never asked for or wanted.

When a moonbat figures they are helping somebody because they are oppressed it's because they think that person is of a lower status than they are.

That is racist.

You think they're doing this for the Indians? My, you are a bit of a naif, aren't you?

They're doing it for their fans and potential ticket buyers, pretty much zero of whom are Indians.

Indians don't go to Indians games? Why do they buy and wear their apparel?

Same reason we do everything else we do. Just to piss you off.

Did you have your sense of irony surgically removed, or did it just dry up and blow away across the Flatskatchewan prairie one day?

Why would it piss me off if Indians buy and wear Cleveland, Chicago, Washington or Indian motorcycle apparel?

Are the Cleveland Browns going to change their name as not to offend brown people?

Am I supposed to be offended by the White Socks?

Because every breath an Indian draws pisses you off.

If they do, I support their absolute right to do as they please with their team, their name, and their logo. And I'm not stupid enough to claim without the first shred of evidence that they're being "forced" to do it. I leave that to Candian "conservatives" who get all butthurt when a private entity makes its own choices for its own reasons.

Am I supposed to be offended by the White Socks?
Absolutely. Why waste a chance to amuse us all with your moronic opinion that white people are the victims of slavery, genocide, discrimination, and racism?

It does? Indians don't bother me but just like Indians I don't care for raunchies.

Bit hard to tell from your periodic racist rants against them.

So, back on track. Do you think that private companies should be free to make decisions according to what they think is in their best interests?

I always thought that Elmer the Safety Elephant looks a bit like Belinda Stronach.

To a degree. Should a human-trafficking business be free to make decisions according to what they think is in their best interest?

I'll use raunchy from here on out as not to confuse the decent Natives with what they call raunchy Indians.

Anyways

Yes, a perfectly legal baseball team and a completely illegal human trafficking "company" are the same thing

How so?

I think any business should be free to work in its best interest within the confines of the law at the very least. Better yet, it should impose higher ethical standards on itself to the best of its ability. But the law is the baseline.

Are you such an imbecile that you don't know the difference between a business and a criminal enterprise, or are you just drunk?

Please, PLEASE don't tell me you thought that was funny, or clever, or intelligent!

It's the standard pattern. Something happens that reflects a shred of racial sensitivity. The White Right immediately busts a gut, instantly forsaking all of their alleged beliefs, to deplore the fact that somebody chose to be a little more polite. Said White Right gets called on their racism and hypocrisy. Said White Right starts desperately flinging red herrings in every direction to try to divert attention from the fact that they've just been called on their racism and hypocrisy.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Fact is, the only racism that has ever been practiced and mandated by the government in the U.S. is legal, mandatory discrimination against non-whites and women by white men.

I haven't been reading half of this thread honestly. I'm bored this evening. Just killing time. Thanks for playing.
