Here is the story. I was reading material off of the Scotiish National War Memorial ( designed by a kinsman) website last week. The text was in English and Gaelic and I encountered the Gaelic word for a Canadian as they also record fallen Canadians of Scottish origins. I saved the word (I collect all sorts of ephemera).

The word translates as "Canadian, eh?" which is not at all off topic as it is consistant with the idea of being pissed silly on Saturday night.
