If the Taliban can have broadband in caves why wouldn't I have it also?
That he and his cohorts have not been hung for treason would indicate that it is a lack-luster attempt. What % of the US 'masses' still think Saddam was involved in 911?
I don't really care for your political musings, MHZ. What I stated was that US networks do criticize Bush.
MHz said:So the BBC is spreading lies?
"The popular US cartoon about the yellow dysfunctional family was branded "inappropriate" and pulled by the country's television authorities."
From http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080409/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_venezuela_simpsons
So Yahoo news lies MHZ?
It seems pretty clear to me that this station was forced to move the show from this slot, it wasn't voluntary.
"Venezuela has forced U.S. cartoon "The Simpsons" off its airwaves, calling the show a potentially bad influence on children, and filled its morning slot with reruns of the beach-and-bikini show "Baywatch."
"Conatel said it started proceedings against the morning airing of the show after complaints from viewers."
Piss off with your condescending BS, alright mhz? I'm quite capable of interpreting what was said. And put in a more appropriate time-slot, how many times does that point need to be explained to you?
And you probably do, regularly, even the re-runs as you may not grasp the 'whole message' the first time around.
Well go ahead and post some links that show that, a search of 'Shaw' brings up an after-school time slot.
I assume you 'might' be (and I do mean maybe) less influenced than a pre-schooler. Do you make all the pre-schoolers you know watch it?
Actually, I rarely watch the TV show thanks nor would I suggest that it ideal programming for a child. If you read back a bit you would see that I took exception with it being labeled as "depraved".
You obviously have just cherry picked in the thread, why don't you go felate your self elsewhere?
I don't care what a country broadcasts MHZ. I will say it again since you are incredibly dense. "I took exception to the Simpsons being labeled "depraved".As a Canadian what gives you the right to decide who can watch what and at what time in another country? Like the second link shows, it was moved to a later time so that the 'working adults' can also watch it, after all it is meant for people who know more about society than pre-schoolers. I still know people who don't let the 'youngest' watch South Park, just because it is in cartoon form doesn't give it a 'G' rating. What is the TV 'rating' for the Simpsons, I would bet it is meant for 12 and older? Oops I was off a bit. TV-14
