Yes. The Argos stole this one. They had no business winning it.Arbuckle was intercepted 5 times (1 overturned on roughing the passer). You have no right to win a game with that many turnovers. But Edmonton made a costly turnover of their own costing them the go ahead touchdown.
Makes up for the one they gave away in Edmonton week 11. What made this game close was the two turnovers on downs deep in the enemy territory.

Also liked seeing the passion from Doege when Harjullahu hit the winning field goal and no doubt there were plenty of smiles to go around after the game.

Bigger test this week with Montreal.

Without Arbuckle. Going to some no-name. Thought this would be a great chance to bring back Kelly.

Argos are required to dress 3 QBs for the game so it seems chances are good Kelly suits up with lots of talk about him being good to go although not from the team. Great opportunity for Doege as well though if he can put a few plays together.

Lots on the line for this game with playoffs in mind.

5600 in attendance for the Huskies / Regina Rams game in Saskatoon is a pretty awesome crowd. Should have had a CFL franchise in the city before now but of course the Riders wouldn't like that. Huskies won.

Kelly did not suit up. 3 no-names. Offence struggled all night with only flashes of brilliance.

It wasn't glamorous although If not for the late interception Argos had them right where they wanted them setting up for another walk off. Defense played well is small consolation.

I think they were lucky. They had 1:40 and were down 5 with 3rd and 4 in Montreal territory. 9 times out of ten kicking the FG does not result in enough time for another possession. And this was the time but they couldn't get it done.

Some big future changes for the CFL all headed in the wrong direction imo. Doubt I will ever do more than bet on the games until they go to 4 downs then quit all together. I stopped watching NHL 10 years ago and don't miss it at all.

What would have been good is to go to meters vs yards for the size of the field. 100 m x 60 m is very close to the current 110 yds x 65 yds. Reducing the size of the end zone by 5 yds I like. The goal post to the back of the field is a bigger change than it might first appear. All in all the wrong way to jam a square peg into a round hole.

We need a WHL to save our game.

I guess they didn't want to stir the pot too much and let the ratio stand for now.

What the Board of Governors has to accept is that it is only football and interest level has probably already peaked.

The 35 second clock is probably a good move. Right now before the 20 second clock starts the game clock ticks down in most cases probably more than the 15 seconds. So I like that move.

The rouge changes are ok too. It is kind of unfair to reward failure.

I don't see why you need to shorten the field but if you move the goal posts back I guess the distance to go to get a FG is roughly the same. Also less of a drive required for a TD.

And let the opposition team roast in the sun on the opposite side of the field.

So I don't think the changes are the end of the world. I don't see what they gain by doing them though.

With a shorter field It'll speed up the game to get more ads in the 3hrs alotted.

Sad and unexpected news with the story of Edmonton Elks owner Larry Thompson passing from complications following surgery at the age of 65.

If they did the grid in 100 metres it still be 110yds. They could have fooled the American investors they seek.
Your right about the 100 metres. Especially with all the global stuff they been ramming down our throats for the past few years.

CFL has shot itself in the foot so many times over the years they have no toes left.

Went out on a limb and took the Argos to win in Vancouver. Suckers payday of 3.8 awaits me.

Also went with Montreal, Hamilton, and Edmonton. Playing a hunch they see a big crowd in Edmonton.
