:25 left in the 3rd Q and Cody takes the ball over the goal line for the Rider's first TD of the game............WTG, Cody! Miss on the 2-point convert though..........ah well at least we found the end zone finally.

Our back-up QB Harker is in to finish the game..........he gets us to the 10 yard line and no further as we are forced to 3rd and out. Purifoy is losing his shit out there - draws an unnecessary roughness penalty........geez.

Ah well..................some days you win.............some days you lose.................Kudos to the Blue and Gold for a very well-played game today...........they deserve the win.

Final score: 35 - 10 for the Bombers.

Oops...................it's actually a triple-header today as the Esks will play the Stumps following this game. Go Esks!

7 wins in a row wasn't going to happen no matter who they played.

To be honest I bet $50 against the Riders.

I wasn't in a winning frame of mind on this one either, pete............more because they were playing at Investor's Field but also due to the Bombers record so far.............I doubted they would let another one go.

I wish I had bet a couple of thousand on Bianca today.

With the three minute warning in the offing and the stumps leading 33 - 17 over the Esks, I'm calling it a win for Calgary. Trevor Harris was sidelined about midway through the 2nd Q with an injury to his throwing hand - back-up Kilgore came in but couldn't get the job done. On top of that two Edmonton players were seen physically pushing each other around on the field and on the sidelines which occasioned a walk down the sidelines in front of all the players by the Eskimo's GM. Tempers cooled but the play on the field never really heated up for the Esks.

Obviously the Riders were lucky to play the Bombers last week before Winnipeg’s shitty second string QB got enough playing time.

Hey, 6 straight with our second string QB was beautiful. I was just looking at the schedule, TiCats could really help us finish the season in a great place but then again the Als coming for a Western tour could change things up. The Dirty Birds are a wild card at this point. Adams Jr was one we should have held on to.

Important win for my Riders over the Alouettes today. Had my doubts for awhile but they managed to pull it off and keep us abreast of the Stumps who also, unfortunately, won their game with the Cats today. Yesterday the BC Lions actually won their 2nd game of the season and Mike never got sacked once.

I've been too busy to post this week's CFL games but have managed to catch some if not all of them. Stumps beat the Boatmen yesterday in a so so game which was followed by the Esks vs the Cats which was all one-sided for the first half in the Cats favor but quickly turned out to be one of the coolest comebacks this year for the Eskimos............tied late in the 4th.........they let a win slip away and the Cats took them by a FG.

Today, the Als squeaked out a narrow 1 point win over the Bombers............would like to have seen that game. Right now the Lions are roaring and well ahead of the RBs late in the final Q. They lead Ottawa 40 to 7 with under 3 minutes left on the clock. Good to see Mike and the boys smiling again.

Edit to add: My Riders are on a bye-week.

Cats hate vacuum cleaners. Unplug the Hoovers!

Evans has the hot hand so far, pete. His connection with the receivers is something to behold and the receivers - especially Addison are answering the call. Not celebrating yet, but if the Cats D keep containing Streveler and Dale keeps finding his guys, it will be a long night for fans in Investment Field........heh, heh, heh.

On another note - no pun intended - just heard that Keith Urban is headlining the Grey Cup half-time show - this is one half-time that I definitely won't miss and probably the first one I will have watched in a long time after a less than stellar line-up of performers these past few years.

Go Cats!

Three minute warning and our Cats have the game well in hand, pete. They prowled and purred and scratched their way to a wonderful win over the hapless Hoovers tonight. And it was a wonderful thing to see. Evans is the real deal for Hamilton and he just keeps getting better and better. Even the return of Andy for the Bombers did not help them one little bit - he only had 21 yards rushing tonight.

Great win Hamilton! Final score: 33 - 13

Really excited about the game today, TM. I figure our chances of coming out the winner are good to excellent.

If the Riders can control the blitz from the Argos the deep crossing routes will be there, a good run game can control the blitz Just sayin

If Ottawa blows this it seals the deal for a crossover from the west. Going by the numbers it'll be the Esquimauxs.

They blew it, pete..............boy did they blow it. And following in their suit - barring a miracle it looks as though our guys are set to seal a play-off spot. With 4:12 left to play in the 3rd our lads have a pretty commanding 27 - 3 lead.
