RBs tagged with holding on the return...........Dominque back in as QB.......but unable to connect on two consecutive passes.......and RBs go 2 and out.............nice coverage by Cats D.


Cats will take the ball inside the RBs 45...........great field position........GO CATS !

Marshall gets the Cats up to the RBs 30............1rst and 10..............Dane can't connect with Banks in the end zone........mainly due to an RB defender being like ALL OVER HIM.............refs miss call but Orlando is on it and tosses the yellow Challenge flag.......this should be a slam dunk............and it is................Cats take the ball on the RBs 1 yard line.........easy peasy as Watford strolls into the end zone for the very first major of the game..........convert good...........5 plays, 44 yards, winning challenge and the Cats lead the RBs 11 - 1 early in the 3rd Q.

Logan upended by not until he gets to the RBs 39 yard line...........helluva a catch by Rodgers for the 1rst D and more.........RBs lose a yard on the following play then come up yards short on 2nd and 11.....Ward connects on a shorty and narrows the Cats' lead to a mere 7 points. LOL

Tasker gets the1rst D.............29 yard pass and run play...........Marshall follows that up YAK yards of his own for the 1rst D...........Dane's pass knocked down by RBs Randall Evans...............2nd and 10.......Dane's pass to to ? intercepted as flags fly..........Ottawa tagged with a FPI call.................ball placed on the 1 yard line.........Campbell challenging the call............this one could be iffy...........replay shows some slight interference............and Campbell wins the challenge........the interception stands.

Madu with a fabulous run gets the RBs to the Cats 50...........but RBs cannot seal the deal and are forced to punt........Leone a good punt away and the Cats will take the ball at their own 17 yard line

Evans connects with Addison who manages 3 yards..........2nd and 7 ..................Luke snags Dane's pass for the first D........Flag files ...........IP Hamilton.........1rst and 15.........pass to Coombs who is going exactly nowhere - 2nd and 14............and Evans finds Jones for the D and more........... 3:45 left Cats 1rst and 10 at their own 49.........Coombs pushed out of bounds but not before he comes but 1 yard short of the down............Dane fires a missile at Coombs who is unable to hold on ..........3 and 1.......oh, oh second defensive player for the RBs down and out for at least 3 plays - RBs getting short of defensive bodies........no problemo............1rst and 10 and no flags.

Finally Dane connects with Brandon for a gain of +20.........but his next pass sails over the head of his receiver..........2nd and 10.........Marshall makes it inside the 25...........short of the D so the FG unit will sally forth onto the field of play........32-yard attempt by Lirim is fumbled due to a bad snap...........RBs take the ball deep in their own zone.......get to their 39 but no further due to exemplary defensive maneuvers by the Cats.............Campbell challenging DPI on the last play............but the ruling on the field is upheld as well it should be..............56 yard punt by Ottawa nails the Cats deep in their own zone

Dane forced to scramble unable to get pass away..............Cats tagged with an UR penalty - after the play yet - and forced back another 15 yards - end of 3rd Q. Hamilton still maintains the lead.

Cats rule in TOP by over 10 minutes but they are backed up to their own 9 yard line and come up short of the D...........Lirim will come out to punt...........RBs take possession on the Cats 50

Madu gets them 4...........Dominque forced to throw the ball away but Cats tagged with II penalty..............1rst D...........Madu gets 5 yards......but Davis can't connect on 2nd and 5 and the RBs will bring out Lewis who is good from the 39 to add 3 more points on the board for Ottawa narrowing the Cat's lead to 4 points early in the 4th Q.

Cats march downfield aided by a 15- yard FM penalty on Ottawa...............Marshall shows his stuff with a beauty YAK yard run to the RBs 24...............UR call on Cats - forcing them to march back 15 yards.........Dane connects with Acklin for the D......but gets thrown to the ground on the next play...........fumbles the ball but Hamilton recovers........2nd and 10 and Dane finds Acklin for the TD!!!!!!!!!!
Convert is good and the Cats extend their lead to 11 points with just over 8 minutes left in the final Q.


Holley reacts late to a lateral from Davis.....ball falls to the ground and the Cats recover to take the ball on the RBs 18................Banks gets them 7..........RBs D comes up big on next play and Lirim is out to try a 21 yarder and this one works out just fine........Cats take a 21 - 7 lead.

Ottawa on a role marching into Cats territory........Davis goes for the long bomb to the end zone but a great defensive play by the Cats Adeleke forces them to 2nd and 10...........Davis connects with Sinopoli for a big gain to the 14...........no love on the next play......2nd and goal from just inside the 10.........Davis gets booed as he is chased around the red zone and finally forced to throw the ball away.............Campbell gambles and loses on 3rd and 10............fans are not amused...........seen shaking their heads.......Hamiltons ball but deep in their own zone........Cats come up short and will be forced to punt.

Alouettes will be in Calgary to play the Stumps following the conclusion of this game. Go Als!


2:45 left in the game............RBs take possession at the Cat's 48.............no room for error for the woodchoppers now........they need two converted TDs to tie the game and we are down to 2:03

And that last miss puts the RBs at 3rd and 10................Campbell gambles again and again he loses........Hamilton's ball with 1:43 on the clock.

Hamilton fans are beside themselves with joy..............Ottawa fans...........not so much. LOL

Cats are forced to punt after going to 3rd and 6........and they are not going to gamble.........Logan gets to his own 50..........flag on play..........Ottawa tagged with UR and forced back 15 yards 1:02...................Davis holds and gets the first D...............goes for the long bomb and misses his target...........2nd 10...........Holley comes up short by inches..........of course they will gamble........this time they are good and get the D ..........but with :29 on the clock..........the game is already over for Ottawa who will surely be having some serious discussions considering their almost insignificant place in the standings. 1 win in their last 7 games.

Cats remain top of their division with a 7 and 2 record adding another 2 points to their total which increases their lead over the nearest contender to 8 points.

It wasn't a particularly great game by the Cats but they got the job done. Congrats Cats.

Al's on the board first with a FG as their defense is managing to hold the Stumps off the board for almost 10 minutes of the 1rst Q. Stumps coach has a seniors moment when he decides to challenge a DPI that no one else can see no matter the number of replays...........loses that challenge and a time-out and he's outta challenges .........all this with just over 8 minutes left in the first Q.........what the heck was he thinking?..........though I'm quite happy with his decision all the same.....anything to stump the stamps.

3:41...............unfortunately, the Al's defence came up short in that series and the stumps put up 7 points with the convert to lead by 4........flag after the play......there's been some pushing and shoving going on even before the game started and the Al's are tagged with a UR call

Al's plow ahead for the first D with 1:08 left in the Q............2nd and 4............Vernon connects with Posey for the D with :06 left..........flag on the play...........Calgary tagged with a late hit gifts the Al's 15 ..............Vernon goes for the Hail Mary with no time on the clock but his receiver fumbles the ball...........Calgary recovers and runs the ball out to around the 15?..........flag on the play - Calgary another UR pushes them back deep in their own zone.............like just outside the goal posts...............so far they have advanced to their 36.......ah, it appears that two former stumps on the Al's team might be harboring ill feelings and causing a few problems...........grow up.
