Not a great start to the Q for Kev. He hesitates too long on the first incompletion and fumbles the snap on 2nd and 10 and getting sacked for a loss on the play.
The loss of Weston comes back to haunt us as he takes a pass from Matt and runs it 50 yards for a Winnipeg TD. To top that off, the Riders get tagged with a 15-yard horse collar tackle penalty when a player - whose name I didn't catch - was stupid enough to tackle Weston in the end zone. Oh well, I can still admire the stadium as it basks in the glow of the setting prairie sun.
3 TO of the game by the Riders and a wide-open Weston wastes no time corralling a pass in the end zone on the very next play. Back-to-back TD's for Weston. Any wonder why I miss him so much.
Just over 9 minutes left in the half and the Hoovers lead by 10 points.
Crappy narrows the score by 3 with an FG from the 32. He's been very consistent with his placement of the ball through the uprights tonight.

Now, now............It's Canada Day...........let's lay animosities aside for just one day and appreciate how great it is to be watching a football game in Regina on our country's 150th BD.........................or not.

If the Riders can manufacture more drives like that last on a consistent basis, they could be contenders - they have all the right players.
