Argos are in their final year at Rogers Centre. Moving to BMO field next year. Suspect they will be targeting for marketing then.

Speaking of playing in the Rogers Centre, Argos having played most of July & August on the road have 4 home games in October. I am suggesting that the games may have to move or be played elsewhere. MLB always has priority on the leases and that is true of the Rogers Centre as well.

In past seasons it has been NFL games which have moved.

I sure hope the move reinvigorates the team and the fans.

Gadzooks, the Argos just can't get a break, can they.

Just tuned into the BC vs Calgary game. They are less than 3 minutes into the 2nd. Score is Calgary 6 - BC 0.

Leone put 3 on the board for the Lions but the Stamps came right back and Bo caught Fuller in the end zone for another TD. They missed the 2-point convert. Score: 12 - 3 Stamps about midway through the 2nd.

This is so not looking good for BC. Calgary is now up 18 - 3. Beck, BC's QB was hurt on the last play and had to be helped off the field...........actually they are just showing him being taken to the dressing room and Harris is in.

Leone gets another 3 on the board for the Lions to end the half down 12 points to the Stamps.

Pardon me, it is Jonathan Jennings who is in as pivot for BC.

Sorry folks, got carried away chatting in the forum. We're midway through the 3rd now and the score is BC 13 ( they got a 103 punt return TD) to Calgary's 21.

Wow Rainey just got another return for TD for the Lions. Great effort by Rainey. BC goes for the 2-point convert but the pass is blocked however, Calgary is called offside so they have another chance. Harris crosses the goal line for the 2 points and the game is tied 21 apiece. Perk up BC fans, the Lions have a chance here.

103 yards for Rainey on that return.

9:42 in the 4th - Calgary comes right back with a TD of their own after a great 58-yard kick return and a couple of great plays from Bo and the crew. Calgary elects to kick the single and are up 7 over BC.

Oh dear, the Stamps just recovered a fumble by Harris and have the ball at BC 20.

Cornish, in his first game back after suffering a broken digit, gets the ball and runs it in 18 yards for the Calgary TD. 8:27 35 - 21 Stamps. Looks like I may have spoken a bit too soon BC fans.

Brian Burnam, the intended target for Jennings, in double coverage is out jumped for the ball in the end zone by Calgary defender and It's the 4th TO of the night for BC. Calgary takes a knee and the ball at their 35 with just over 3 minutes left in the game.

Thanks to a great pass by Jennings under heavy pressure from the Calgary D and on the run finds his receiver and scores a roughing the passer penalty to put BC first and goal - again. 3rd and goal, BC players reaches for the ball from the end zone but the ball doesn't cross the plane. TO on downs. Calgary has the ball on the goal line.

Final Score: Calgary 35 - BC 21. Calgary is 4 games ahead of the Eskimos in the West now.

Off to bed. Big sports day tomorrow - 2 CFL games - Edmonton will be in Hamilton to take on the Cats then the RBs will travel to Mosaic to play my Riders - and the second game of the Blue Bird vs Red Sox series. Will be a tough go between the Jays and the Cats as they both air at the exact same time. Will be thankful for the numerous TSN commercials, I'm sure.

The Tiger Cats have lost Zach for the rest of the game after he injured his knee in a 2nd down rush early in the 2nd Q. Jeff Mathews will take over QBing duties for the team who are leading the Eskimos 7 - 0 about midway through the 2nd.

Edmonton is on the board with a conceded 2 points by Cat kicker Justin Medlock.

Forgot to mention the Cats also got a FG so they are up 10 - 2 with 3:46 to go in the 2nd.

Eskimo kicker Sean White puts 3 more on the board with just over a minute left in the half, cutting the Cat's lead to 5.

Medlock out to kick FG for the Cats and gives them an 8 point lead going into the half.

The Eskimos, even with Mike back as starter, are having a difficult time moving the ball against the Cat's D, rockman. Zach is on the sidelines cheering the guys on - there will be no further word on his injury until he's seen the doctor. Jeff is doing a credible job of filling in for him.

OOOOh Edwin just hit a two-run home run in the 6th to give the Jays a 2-1 lead.

The wind has done a 180 in direction giving the Cat's the advantage once again in the 3rd - they were with the wind in the 1rst.

Sure are a lot of empty seats at Horton's.

I think the wind and weather might have something to do with it, rockman. I thought I heard that Roddie or Duane say it had been a sell-out - as it has been every game for the Cat's this year - will have to check on that.

Jeff just threw a pick to the Esk's Foster who took it for a TD but they got nowhere on the 2-point convert attempt. Score now 15 - 11 for our Cats.

Medlock with the wind from the 32 puts the ball through the uprights and gives the Cats a 7 point lead with just over 3 minutes remaining in the 3rd Q .

Mike Reilly is having an off night. He's completed only 5 of 20 passes so far.

Marcel Young picks off Jeff in the end zone for another Cat's TO and they are stopped again short of a TD. Kent has thrown challenge flag arguing there was pass interference on the play. I think he may very well have a point as Young appeared to grab Tasker's jersey prior to the catch. Cat's lose challenge and it's the Esks ball.

The Eskimos are playing shuffle the QB between Lynch and Reilly.

Yee Haw! Emmanuel Davis intercepts a Reilly pass and it's the Cats ball again. Excellent play by Davis.

Donaldson just got the tie-breaking run bottom of the 8th off a single by Edwin.

Collabello gets an infield hit that loads the bases with nobody out.

Switching over to the Jays for a bit.

Just checked in to watch Jeff picked off once again and the ball was returned for an Eskimo TD.

Back to the game leaving the Jays two up. Score here is tied at 18 apiece with 8 minutes left in the 4th.

Hamilton's gone to their third- string QB for the final minutes of the quarter. First play and the Cat's cough up the ball, recovered by the Esks, play reviewed, Cats keep ball but have to kick it away.

Banks gets a fabulous return only to see it called back by an illegal blocking penalty against Hamilton as the three minute warning is given and the score is tied.

Tasker with 20 yard grab. Toliver to the Edmonton 53. 2nd and 3. Cat's latest QB fumbles the ball and the Esks have it with a minute 54 left in the game.

Lawrence gives Esks a 1rst down inside the ten........penalty flag on play.......face mask against the Cats. Ball on the 4. Lawrence walks the ball into the end zone for the TD. 25 - 18 Eskimos. :43 left in the game.

Eskimos take this one and the Cat's drop only their second game at home this season.

Big Kudos to Mike Reilly for his comments regarding Zach after the game today. He praised both Zach and the Cats saying that Hamilton is a great team and that Zach makes them that much better. He wished Zach a speedy recovery and return to the field.

Final score: Montreal 35 - Winnipeg 14. Bit of a blow-out by the Als today even though Crompton's numbers aren't all that great for the game.

Zach Collaros will be out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his knee. Huge blow for both the Cats and Zach.
