What about using the notwithstanding clause to put the brake on public service unions by effectively saying "collective bargaining, union membership & dues collection are not covered" by the Charter of Rights & Freedoms
Bureaucrats run the country, not the politicians. Take away their right to collective barganing and they will shut down the country. What do you think would happen if you just got rid of them? Nobody else knows how the country is run. There would be decades of chaos.

I was hoping for the centrist answer before the regulars got involved.

Actually the Arctic Ocean is not really on ocean, it is just the northern part of the Atlantic. It is a fallacy to think Canada shores three oceans.

We'd be fine. All they do is make work for themselves. the beaurocrats are actually worse than the politicians if that's possible

About the only thing Trudeau could implement is possibly some rude gestures or variations of "Fuddle Duddle".
Understood.

But notice how he actually *implemented* things?

Politics was so much more real when not dominated by hand-puppets of the gel-haired Armani-suited MBA's.

Ever notice how they don't even try to defend themselves anymore? Now they just shut up with silence.

They used to say they created jobs with trickle-down effect. They don't talk about that any more because people noticed they're only trickling jobs down to China.

Fact is, notice how the government's commanders from New York have basically put a gag order on saying anything...

We used to be people on top of resources fought for by ancestors against mosquitoes in order to have a better standard of living, and now New York is telling the government to give it away with HST and tax cuts in the middle of a recession which *they* caused.

It's like they're trying to take over the economy in a middle-ages way. It's like how Benjamin Franklin, the only American father of confederation to actually invent anything, was super pissed-off at what was decided upon for the US constitution.

He went on record saying the only hope for having good government was if citizens were to maintain diligence, else it would fall back into the hands of Plutocrats defining egalitarianism as how they would have sex with black slave women and enjoy it just as much as those women if white.

The only way to fix our political system is to have a party of the radical centre which can take from both sides and is centre-right on certain issues and centre-left on others and is for restoring democracy and is centrist on social and economic issues therefore it is pragmatic on everything and does not have a firm platform on issues but instead does what is right. Therefore they are a new party for the 21st century. That is something which can break the deadlock between just Liberals and Conservatives and can create a new alternative.

Check out Centrist Party on facebook. The site is Centrist Party of Canada | Facebook or the issues page on the main site is: centristparty

But notice how he actually *implemented* things?

... And what a raging success those *things* have been, eh? A divided nation that Trudeau started down the road of a crushing debt-load

Politics was so much more real when not dominated by hand-puppets of the gel-haired Armani-suited MBA's.

By real, do you mean amateurish and bumbling?

Ever notice how they don't even try to defend themselves anymore? Now they just shut up with silence.

I think that you are the last person in Canada that is living in the Trudeau-was-god fantasy land... People are quiet about it because it's bad manners to encourage the lunatics

They used to say they created jobs with trickle-down effect. They don't talk about that any more because people noticed they're only trickling jobs down to China.

Good point.. Trudeau foresaw this potential so he crippled all the industry in Canada so that wouldn't happen.

Fact is, notice how the government's commanders from New York have basically put a gag order on saying anything...

You'd best don your tin-foil head gear lest the Commanders from NYC start reading your thoughts from their bevy of spy satellites.

We used to be people on top of resources fought for by ancestors against mosquitoes in order to have a better standard of living, and now New York is telling the government to give it away with HST and tax cuts in the middle of a recession which *they* caused.

Those mosquitoes can be especially viscous when they first hatch... Why, I remember my Great-Great-Grand Pappy telling me that he if he had a choice, he would have preferred to face the Kaiser and his entire army single-handed with nothing but a shank (probably a sharpened spoon) rather than take on those blood-thirsty mosquitoes.

He went on record saying the only hope for having good government was if citizens were to maintain diligence, else it would fall back into the hands of Plutocrats defining egalitarianism as how they would have sex with black slave women and enjoy it just as much as those women if white.

Plutocrats? You've just described Trudeau

When a party is formed that promises to ALWAYS balance the budget (outside of during an officially declared war) whilst ALWAYS looking after those that cannot look after themselves (the poor/sick/disabled) without raising taxes any more - then that is a party I could vote for.

Personally, I am tired of the middle class/wealthy getting ANYTHING from the government.
They can look after themselves.
