lmfao

some actions need a pause before being performed

I hadn't heard that

I have no issue with her offering initial support to Ghomeshi. After all, in the beginning they were only allegations and no one had come forward publicly. It's her poltico lame a$$ flip flop and excuse. Really? You tweeted to Ghomeshi cus you were stressed because of the attack on parliament?

Egads!

Just tell the truth, is iot really that hard?

I joke around, but until I saw something more convincing than anonymous allegations I wasn't going to get on with torch and pitchfork. Now that these woman have gone public I am apt to believe that this is just more than than some disgruntled ex girlfriend.

And of course I also blame El Barto.

I come by it honestly, I'm half french.

The right half, cuz I know you'll ask.
What's the left half again?

Oh, and am I really that predictable, lol.

You know that I do. We agreed earlier that Wednesdays were dress up days at CC. You told me everyone was doing it.
They are, trust me, and shush, remember I told you, the first rule of CC dress up club is, we don;t talk about CC dress up club.

Ghomeshi’s staff complained about ‘culture of fear’ - The Globe and Mail

In July of 2012, a core group of staff at the radio show Q began meeting quietly to draft a document complaining that the work culture at the program, then hosted by Jian Ghomeshi, was “unsustainable.”

Early on, the six CBC radio employees would gather at a downtown restaurant away from the office to avoid notice, and code-named their endeavour “Red Sky” to keep it secret. Once the document was written, they convened a meeting at CBC headquarters on July 19 with Arif Noorani, the show’s executive producer, and Linda Groen, director of network talk radio.

The complaint reveals that a clear, official attempt was made to address Mr. Ghomeshi’s behaviour in the workplace, and it was reviewed and acknowledged by CBC managers long before the star host was fired last month. Sources said they felt management was sympathetic, but that Mr. Ghomeshi’s office conduct never significantly changed.

“Just the fact that we had to present [the proposals] in this way speaks to the culture of fear – that these things weren’t things that we felt we could address on an ongoing basis,” said a staffer who was involved in drafting the proposals.

Mm, I see your point and feel it is generous. She should have kept quiet until there was more information available. When politicians or anyone for that matter are so quick to assess and go public it appears knee jerk, because it is and knee jerk is usually, not always but usually wrong.

I think it demonstrates poor decision making ability. Not a message a politician wants to send out.

Maybe Jian took this fools workshop

Julien Blanc, self-described pick-up artist who promotes choking women, leaves Australia and has visa cancelled - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

A self-proclaimed pick-up artist who promotes choking women has left the country and had his visa cancelled by the Federal Government.

Julien Blanc, 25, was due to give a talk at Melbourne's Como Hotel on Wednesday night advising men how to "pick up women from open to close".

His tactics, which include choking women and pulling them into his crotch, were criticised online as misogynistic and abusive.

Jenna Price, the founder of feminist group Destroy The Joint and a lecturer at the University of Technology in Sydney, said Mr Blanc's departure was a victory for common sense.
"He expressly suggested techniques which abused women and which harmed women and I think that really frightened women," she said.

"We were able to see in writing his idea that you should try and isolate women, that you should keep them frightened, you should make sure that they don't have access to money.

"Now these are the kinds of things which are directly in line with men who perpetrate violence against women."

I doubt it, unless this guy was giving workshops at the age of 5. :p
