not so much stupidity but ignorance, ignorance of how capitalism functions, ignorance of class, ignorance of economics, ignorance of history, ignorance of society, when you're deeply ignorant in all these things capitalism seems like a good thing.
When your stupid you can't compete in a capitalist world where the best wins.

There seems to be a lot of gaps in this line of reasoning. Not saying it's necessarily wrong, but it isn't clear how you've arrived at a conclusion.
As in, if one is willing to work hard at gaining difficult Knowlage he can then use to earn capital.
If one has everything for free, why will anyone bother to work at becoming exceptional at anything in order to sustain himself. Where will the motivation come from to win gold if you already get gold for nothing?

A brick of gold lasts forever while a human has to be spent as soon as possible because humans are not durable they trickle away over the months and years. They are best used before they begin to rot.

As long as we all have the freedom to do it, Or to chose not too, It's going to happen reguardless, of the freedom for all to , or the prohibition.
