One can easily make the argument that capitalism offered a broad-stroke opportunity for the commoners to elevate their standard of living.
In effect, the rudimentary elements of capitalism were adopted by those communities that operated as communes that developed into more operable societies.
Prior to the above, you had royalty and then everyone else who were forced to essentially live as hunter-gatherers.
There seems to be a lot of gaps in this line of reasoning. Not saying it's necessarily wrong, but it isn't clear how you've arrived at a conclusion.
As in, if one is willing to work hard at gaining difficult Knowlage he can then use to earn capital.
If one has everything for free, why will anyone bother to work at becoming exceptional at anything in order to sustain himself. Where will the motivation come from to win gold if you already get gold for nothing?
