Yep, buddy called it on the money; you are a special kinda stupid.
... The invention of poverty.... Hilarious
obviously an exaggeration, but capitalism perpetuates poverty and feasts off it.
Captain.....this thread has gone waaay past stupid....only worth reading to exercise your eye roll.....
you barely know how to read, your comprehension is very poor.
One can easily make the argument that capitalism offered a broad-stroke opportunity for the commoners to elevate their standard of living.
In effect, the rudimentary elements of capitalism were adopted by those communities that operated as communes that developed into more operable societies.
Prior to the above, you had royalty and then everyone else who were forced to essentially live as hunter-gatherers.
the bouriges taking control over the means of production by force and conscripting the common man into wage slavery is not quite a large elevation and any reforms that brought improvements to the life conditions were fought for, such as the 8 hour work day not given to out of kindness.
all this talk about how much we've progressed, how much better we live today, how much advancement capitalism has given us, and still it's 2016 and america is voting for trump or hilary.
