actually , gotta confess that it is sort of funny to see how defensive "Americans' get. But , in all seriousness, It is understandable as they are in the spotlight now and being scrutinized as never before. In a way this is a consequence of their own doings. Reality is , that this has been building up for some time. .....and maybe we are seeing it more clearly now. Suspect that sociologists might be able to explain this phenomena .

Anti-Americanism exists long before Iraq, Ocean. We have always been scrutnized, this isn't anything new.

I'll give an example of Rev's tacit nod bullshit on the Serbian war.

No UN approval. Hence illegal. Why didn't anyone complain about it as much as the verocity about Iraq? I'll tell you why, because all the NATO members were knee deep in it.

What you've done is give an example of your own hypocrisy. The UN did give a tacit nod and, if you've read my posts on the subject, you know that I don't agree with that. If you knew what you were talking about, you would also know that there were people speaking out against what happened there as well.

You and your buddy Jim Moyers seem to think that we should still be speaking out against that war as loudly as we are speaking out against Iran and other current examples of US imperialism though...even though the Serbian deal is over and done with.

What you've done is give an example of your own hypocrisy. The UN did give a tacit nod and, if you've read my posts on the subject, you know that I don't agree with that. If you knew what you were talking about, you would also know that there were people speaking out against what happened there as well.

Since the things you say are highly inaccurate, it needs to be pointed out that there is a pattern. That pattern is especially clear when there is a Republican in the White House, but it is certainly not limited to Republicans.

I think, gentle peapod, that you may want to start reading yourself. Anyone who says anything postive about the US gets tagged with the "GWB lover, anti-Canadian, move to US, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, its so good down there why don't you go, don't let the border guards hit your ass on the way out" Fuddle Duddle comments so fast it makes the thread smoke.
