Harper is doing the reefer maddness thing because he has some substantial backers with a vested interest in keeping pot illegal.

Um yeah. I'm sure he has a different explanation.

Pot is going legal regardless of who has the helm. They are using the medical angle as a study to work out the kinks.

Please hurry up with it my fellow Canadians... The US has started and if Canada starts pushing forward, I'm more than sure Australia will start to follow suit.
