I don't support American retailers.. when i have a choice.. even in Canada. Seems to me Canadians have more to complain about this than Americans. A simple solution would be simply to re-impose quotas of goods allowed back in at the border.. or charge a sufficient tariff to make it non-economical.

How long ago was that? I was in Bellingham a few months ago and the prices, while lower, were not
low enough to warrant a trip from Vancouver........and absolutely not from Vancouver Island

mid seventies, and living in newton, we were only about 20 miles from the border.
I would not have gone if it wasn't profitable.

I like the idea of looking for a more suitable place to put a larger Costco and larger parking area. Bigger is better.
Frack the adding tax idea. people are taxed more than we get back in services from gov'ts.

I don't agree that bigger is always better. Sometimes it's best to keep things simple, lol. But in this case I'd agree. The only reason these people are complaining is that they are frustrated. If that frustration was removed (being able to find a parking spot, shorter lines, stores with the capacity to handle more product) the complaining would cease.

I agree but I didn't say it's always better.

I think so. :)

Don't they tax you folks enough?

One can only hope, Eagle.......problem is that in all probability some other form of FB will just take its place.

Without a doubt.

When you look at the cheap American milk, is it watered down like their beer?

Our beer kicks azz! I thought ya'll gave up on that myth about y'uns having better beer.

it ain't no myth. American beer is made from Canadian beer after it has been run through someones bladder.

Oh ya... and Canadian women are sexier.
