Canadian Press Claims Al Qaeda operating in Syria

A Canadian Press report claims Al Qaeda is operating in Syria on the side of
the rebels. many are ex terror cells that once operated in Iraq. These reports
come from CIA operatives and former operative.
The problem for the Americans is they are on the same side as the terror groups.
these groups are operating inside the rebel movement and it is beginning to worry
officials.
Here we go again, watching as the insurgents, upset the status quo and then
hijack the agenda of those who want democracy. Remember Egypt? What they
have now is worse than what they had. Iraq is back int the hands of many who
were in power before. and we have not yet seen the worst of it.

Eaglesmack in the last elections they had some time ago, those who were former
Baath Party sympathizers were elected to office along with a number of friends of
Iran. I didn't like Saddam but we didn't have the trouble we have while he was in
power. He kept the Shiites from office and that is not so bad seeing as they are
the ones in power in Iran. Not only that but there were no Al Qaeda folks working
out of Iraq.
I think we should have left Mubarak in power in Egypt too, stable government and
no Muslim Brotherhood. Dictator yes Al Qaeda and Islamic sympathizer no.
Libya different situation, the leadership there was not only ruthless they were crazy.
If choices have to be made I would say Syria is better off with the dictator they have
rather than the Muslim Brotherhood. At present there is Muslims and Christians
living in the same cities. The Christians in Syria actually support the regime.
I agree with one conflict and that was Afghanistan the rest America and its allies should
have left well enough alone.

Obama is allied with Al Qaeda in Syria. Why am I not surprised?

At first we heard that the # 2 man in AQ had been killed in a bombing raid. Then the next # 2. Then the next #2. And so on and so forth. ultimately we heard that OBL was killed and that AQ was virtually dead as all of its assets were seized. If so, then how is it that it has managed to expand itself into Syria and remains a menace to the world???
