He does however sound much better than Ke$ha live,

Haha! Not much, though.

It's been my feeling for a long time that MJ blames the wrong people, or her rules are wrong. She says, people are free to say anything about the idols, if you don't like it, don't respond. And you can't question anyone's motives for posting anything.

But I think people respond because they're baited, and trolling and baiting should be discouraged by her. I also think the motives of people who aren't on the level should be allowed to be questioned. Those posters on Top Idol are right, too. It's all one sided (anti-Kris), with hardly anyone regularly posting snide or negative stuff about Adam, on that blog.

Also, I think people know that everyone reads the blog, even industry people, as well as Slezak, Melinda, Cantiello, etc. So they don't want idiotic statements and misinformation about Kris to go unchallenged. Or, they don't want it to be one big advertisement for Adam Lambert.

Speaking of advertisements for Adam Lambert, Mix 104.1 is advertising a contest where you can meet Daughtry and Bon Jovi at (I think) an Idol taping on May 12. What week will that be? Top 3? When is the finale.

Oh, yeah -- people who win the first round of the contest win three Idol CDs. Daughtry's, Kelly's, and Adam's.

Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest!

Back to The Scientist. That is not my favorite song, not that I hate it at all, it's just meh for me. I hope that's okay to say. I know people love it. Anyway, they sounded great. I'm thrilled with the amount of publicity this is apparently getting, and Oprah, kiss my ass, Kris is too good for your tacky-ass show. :)))

So the losers get those, eh? ;)

Re the blog. I think it's tough to monitor a blog that size without going insane. She'd be banning and moderating people all day.. she's probably already doing that.

It's also easier to be nicer when your guy wins -- but then I just look at the bitter-berts as poor people who can't see that Adam is doing just fine. They are also socially inept and really just kind of mean.

Adam and Kris are friends... you don't have to like either of their music, but if you like someone THAT MUCH...(like dress your children in head to toe glitter much) whouldn't you think spending all day bashing the people that they are close to would be a really really awful thing to be doing with your life?

Well, yeah, I get that people think it sucks how she rules her blog, but still, it's her blog and she may choose to do whatever she wants with it. I do go there to watch a video, read some news, etc (I follow her on twitter, so it's easy to go directly to what I want to read), but no I don't read the comments, there's really no need for me. So, I take her blog for what it is, a really good source of information, but whatever else she sees fit to do with it, I don't care about.

So, mainly, I can't really get upset about what goes on there. I just choose to not read the comments and it's perfectly fine for me.

I think these nutjobs think Adam's friendship with Kris is misguided and an aberration. Also, Adam has never discouraged these people much from fanwarring or other OTT behavior.

Re the blog. I think it's tough to monitor a blog that size without going insane. She'd be banning and moderating people all day.. she's probably already doing that.

She knows the usual offenders. I don't think it would be difficult to let them know their behavior is unwelcome, or to discourage it.

It's also easier to be nicer when your guy wins -- but then I just look at the bitter-berts as poor people who can't see that Adam is doing just fine. They are also socially inept and really just kind of mean.

I don't know if I agree with all of this, though I agree with the last part of it!

I know you've said before that it's easier to be nicer when your guy wins. But I don't really think that's why Kris's fans are nicer. For one thing, Adam has been treated like the winner, in a lot of people's estimation. So I doubt it's easier to be nicer when your guy wins but the other guy gets the glory.

I don't think they're nicer because it's easier, actually. If you ask me, if Adam had won, his obnoxious fans would have been about the same, probably even more so. Sore losers are often also sore winners. Do you think they would have been nicer if he won? I don't see these people as being nice in any circumstance.

I just think the Kris fans, at least on that blog, are nice. I think Kris tends to attract a certain type of fan. Since he's not an agressive, in your face, obnoxious kind of person, he would never attract that kind of poster. I don't think if Kris had lost, these same people would have been the equivalent of bitterberts.

I have to question your theory that the bitterberts' meanness stems from worry that Adam is not doing fine. Do you really think insecurity about Adam's career progress is behind their Kris-bashing? I don't. They seem overly confident that Adam is the greatest thing ever and that the world loves him.

I tend to agree it's insecurity. But just their own. I think they sound like insecure and scared people who need to act out. Socially inept is right.

By the way, The Truth has been in my head non-stop. Especially (unfortunately) the bridge as sung by Kris (where he reminds me of Jacob, a bit, not sure why. It sounds like something Jacob would sing, I guess). Anyhow, the song is a classic earworm.

Ah, but the title.. is ALL. How dare Kris win? Chik-fil-a and AT&T robbed Adam of his just rewards! Seriously, if they are thinking that these mega-corporations are out to get Adam then they're not playing with a full deck to start with and arguing with the crazy will just drive you crazy in the end. Idol always attracts a lot of crazy. It isn't only Adam, it's the show itself. But because Adam is this dramatic person.. he attracts that type of fan, just like Kris's fans seem way more relaxed and chill. I've seen some comments that are just awful under Adam's articles too. I'd like to think the sane folk know better.

Do you really think insecurity about Adam's career progress is behind their Kris-bashing? I don't.

Some of it, but it's also this feeling that Adam was slighted by Kris winning. And they want to make sure everyone knows that Adam should have won. It's almost an overprotectionist thing.

Like both Adam and Kris can't be good at the same time. Well, they live on my Ipod just fine together with 1000 other artists.

I tend to agree it's insecurity. But just their own. I think they sound like insecure and scared people who need to act out. Socially inept is right.

Agreed.

I don't know. I was on that blog last year at this time and I didn't see David Archuleta fans holding on to bitterness and insulting or putting down David Cook constantly a year after the finale. I'm sure there were some fan wars before that, but it's altogether different. And Blake Lewis fans don't troll the threads that are about Jordin, saying obnoxious things about how he's overweight, or something. I think this is a unique situation because Adam's fans are not like the usual fans, and many of the people on MJ's are the most mean-sprited pricks I've seen anywhere on the internet.

They sure don't mention much about Kris and Allison do they? I guess they have other priorities.. the big O for one.. I'm really glad Lizzie brought the camera for rehearsal footage. Maybe all TT outrage, made that happen.

Kris's website is actually getting updates.. the pigs will be flying next.

I hate when (as in the news-Oprah clip) they called Kris a "former American Idol contestant." Hate. that.

They sure don't mention much about Kris and Allison do they?

The news clip could have shown a bit of the performance. :( I still say Kris is doing this the old fashioned way, bringing it to the people. Did you hear the girls screaming when he started singing and at the end when they yelled "I love you, Kris!"? That's, to me, like a little confirmation that the message is getting across. :)

Oh, and by the way, **** you, Oprah, the sparkle cow to end all sparkle cows! (<--bitter Krisbert.)

Well, I always skim over the people I don't want to read. It makes me happy :) Like duck, duck, goose. crazy, crazy, sane (read that one)

Rockstar was pretty brutal during and after the show, so maybe that's where my frame of reference is -- I recognize the tone of crazy and tune it out. Probably a lot of the same people commenting on both.

Oh, I skip the longer ones, myself. Lately, I skip almost everything. Right now on that thread about The Scientist, MJ has deleted so much that it reads like a Kris-Allison appreciation thread. The last couple of pages do, anyway. (I didn't read it previously, so I don't know what was there.) The ones that kill me are things like: "I enjoyed it once Allison's solo started." etc.

Don't pick on this?

YouTube - Adam Lambert On Oprah Winfrey Show Part 1

"He came in second." Who did he come in second to? He isn't even named. It's like he doesn't exist. **** you, Oprah. Come after me. You want a piece of meeeee????!!

ETA: Look at the comments under this video. Is it full of Adam-bashing by Kris fans (as the Glamberts always say)? I don't see it.

Anyway, enough of this because I want to enjoy the good stuff, not dwell on the bad stuff. So, do you have any other good stuff to share??
