Ugh. What can we do? It might help sell the thing. It's almost like Kris and Joe King appearing together and playing Alright With Me, isn't it?? It isn't??? Oh. No. It isn't. :(

But listen, for Kris to get in the good graces of so many well-known, professional musicians is not at all a bad thing. Pat Monahan included. (I kind of wish so many of us didn't diss him on Kris's website. I'm sure he read that stuff. "Kris sings better than you." "This song sucks." Oops.)

Mayday Parade, one of the bands at that Mixfest show, is big right now with some kids I know slightly (at work).

I have no clue who this band is... but Adam Levine might have indeed beat up John Mayer: Twitter / MIGGS: RT @KrisAllen: looking for ...

So, as we concluded before, Adam Levine was one of Jessica Simpson boyfriends, right?? As was John Mayer. By George, I think you've got it.

Except the tour dates are in August and we're supposedly looking at June. But Kris might be playing with them in June and also August. Kris says he'll be touring until fall. (ETA: I just checked Wikipedia and Maroon 5 has a new album coming out in June.)

Maroon 5 are indeed huge.

Miggs is a rock group based out of Tampa, FL. Miggs has shared the stage with such diverse acts as Maroon 5, Mandy Moore, Aerosmith, Lifehouse, Matt Nathanson, Cake, Duran Duran, Matt Nathanson and more. In 2010 the band will be releasing their newest album 'Wide Awake'

(--from Wikipedia)

"Cake." Heh.

So do you think Maroon Five is the mystery headliner? I think they must be.

Yeah, I just listened to a few of their songs (Miggs) and it's undoubtedly meh. Super generic. But they seem excited to play with Kris, so yay!

Well, Maroon 5 must like them (played with them before) and I'm glad they (Miggs) seem excited. I wonder how many dates Kris will do with them (Maroon 5)?

(ETA: I just checked the chat feature and it doesn't work here at my job, either.)

I love that interview. A reporter who knows what questions to ask?? Amayzing.

I kind of wish that Pat and Kris had been able to get together into studio to record the song together. :/ But alas, I still like it. just not as much as the other one. But if Pat being on it helps get it out there, and Kris's name out there, then it's worth it for me, bottom line. I've always liked Train though.

Anyway you're right it's good to make good impressions on different bands, and artists. Those connections are so valuable.

It must be Maroon 5 right?

Too bad the Oprah thing won't be on tv, when I read the stations website I have to admit I wondered if it would. If it's a rally that's happening all over the country there wouldn't be a lot of time for it. It's still cool though.

Kris is Kris-ifying The Truth in a satifactory way which pleases ross very much. Yes, I just referred to myself in the third person. I don't know why Kris is singing this Daughtry/psuedo Rob Thomas rip off, but, whatever. He's doing his best. I still don't get it.

Do people like it? Are you hearing anything?

When Ross is happy-ish.. we're all happy-ish. lol It's going to change I think.. Organic was the word we used for Kris and it really applies. Did you manage to listen to the KISS interview that just aired? Kris and Cale played LLWD. And it was AWESOME.

Radio stations seem to like it and the Train connection -- so for me, for you.. I'll take it. Train's at the top of the pop charts too. So although this song is going to HAC - Train being at the top of those charts might help it get a listen on pop stations.. that plus.. LLWD being one of the biggest songs of the year...

At first, I was like "bleh", my dislike for Siobhan has been growing for a few weeks so I don't think I want her near Hanson (especially if I'm watching the live feed, I was actually glad not to hear her sing ever again). But, then I thought it was really nice of them to offer that and it could also be good publicity for them (Shirley did post their video in her blog entry!). And there's no guaranty that she'll make it before tomorrow night either. We'll see.

Okay, I'll go watch that Denver radio video.

That acoustic The Truth was definitely better than the recorded version. That's pretty much all I can say about it!

I'm pretty sure Siobhan wouldn't be able to do it anyway. I think 19 has them pretty locked up over where they can sing and for whom.

So it's a year since David and Andrew lost their brother? So sad.

Yes. He passed away the night before the Race actually. And David still raced and announced to the crowd afterwards that his brother had died the night before. I'm sure the Race this year will bring back some painful memories.
