Wow, shock boot. Siobhan is gone. From the pimp spot.

I know people will complain and say that it's unfair, but as I said yesterday, I'll personally be happy not to see her perform again.

Mike should probably have gone though.

Siobhan getting booted didn't surprise me although I agree with you, Mike should have gone.

I thought Mike was going he got the majority of my pool points but my second choice was Siobhan. I really like her, but she kinda sucked last night. So I'm not that shocked. I was more shocked that Mike was safe.

I'm not that schocked either, I knew I couldn't be the only one to not like her. Even Casey wouldn't have surprised me. Actually, I think the only one who would have surprised me would have been Crystal.

I still haven't watched the show yet, but I'm reading twitter and next week's theme is songs of Sinatra? Will that theme make ross happy? I guess I don't really mind it (don't really know his songs actually), but the theme still screams old-fashioned to me.

I guess they just did Shania so they thought that they had gotten their quota of "current" (not that Shania is that current) for the season? *sigh*

I forgot to watch!! Haha. That's how into Idol I am this year. MJ will have it all in clips.
But damn, I forgot all about it.

I knew it was going to be Siobhan! I was at work today and figured it out. Who else would have gone? The only two who were actually bad were her and Lee. And I didn't think Lee was going to go.

Songs of Sinatra? Yeah, I guess I'd be happy if I thought any of these people could sing his songs well.

Oh, and so much for it being a girl's year. The judges should have concentrated on packing the Top 24 with better guys.

I was thinking about that today, too. I mean, remember the various guys we thought were pretty good, back in Hollywood week? Some of the ones who said Kris was their favorite last year, or their inspiration for auditioning? I forget their names. I know the casting wouldn't have allowed for a lot of similar singers. But I think I would have liked to see a few more of them in the Top 24.

Sintra doesn't scream current to me either. I mean maybe they can do something with it, but it's not like they've shown any skills for making old songs sound relevant. Seriously. I can't say it enough, song choice is such a big part of this show.

Crystal would've surprised me for sure. Everyone else is pretty much canon fodder for me this season.

Would you have listened to me? NO!!

I was busy today at work. A couple of times I meant to post here and say, "Siobhan-- shock boot!!" But I never got to it. I'm serious. Oh, well.

Well, it was kind of obvious. I couldn't see people votong enthusiastically for that. The rest were solid, except Lee, and he got so much pimpage... I think it would have been Aaron this week, if he hadn't performed much better than usual.

I agree, but when they give them lame theme weeks, what can we expect? I mean, Sinatra himself is not lame, or his music, he's a legend, but using his music as a theme week is kind of lame. No wonder younger people don't watch Idol as much as before. If I was 17, I wouldn't want to watch Sinatra's songs covered on Idol.

Well Sinatra is not a lot different from "Rat Pack week" last season. Since he was the leader of the Rat Pack. The thing that's bad about it is that they only had Elvis week two weeks ago. The good thing is that Sinatra was a singer from the late 30's to the 80's, and he was also in the movies, so there's a huge amount of music to choose from.

That is a great picture of Kris and that little girl. I just looked at it again.

Lady A were good. That's pretty much it. Rascal Flats were pitchy dawg, and then there was some band I don't know, they were.. ok.. and then Shakira and Rascal Flats (again) Rascal Flats paid someone off -- way too much of them.

Would you have listened to me? NO!!

Maybe??? LOL

Hey I still went up in the standings! LOL - I'm now #96
