So has anyone else think Sebastian has improved as a singer since CI?

Oliver is someone I like, but not really as a singer. Neither of them are really my type of singer. But I really like them as people. And I like watching Sebastian perform.

Idol’ track sales: Adam Lambert tops 100K for the week, approaching a million total
Adam Lambert got a huge bump from his American Idol appearance Wednesday, nearly doubling his week-to-week tracks sales for Whataya Want From Me, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Whataya Want From Me topped 100,000 for the week, pushing him into the top 10 of SoundScan’s Top Digital Tracks chart. That puts Adam at 964,000 total downloads, putting 1 million within easy reach for next week.
Also, Jason Castro saw large gains for some of his songs, including Over the Rainbow (+911 percent) and Let’s Just Fall in Love Again (+397 percent).

Seems to me that when Kris actually did sell 1 million, there was no headline at all on MJ's blog. I think Kristen almost bends too far in the other direction not to show her favoritism towards Kris.

Anyhow, there are all these comments there, and I had to write what I felt. I just don't see how you can give him total credit for all these sales, when they wouldn't have been the same sales without the excess AI pimpage which was definitely meant to boost his sales, and the multiple buying strategies that were all over the internet. That's not real. I'm sorry. The numbers aren't real. I'd congratulate him if he did it for real. As far as I'm concerned, the boost was done for him. Somewhere along the line, he's going to have to do it himself. (I guess? Maybe not.)

I think that's a jacket. Not to get technical! Right there, he's dressed just about how I used to dress when I was his age. I don't know if that's a good thing or not! Anyhow, he looks good.

Hah, Lee walked away without even acknowledging Aaron. That looked odd. Not that it was deliberate. Just didn't look great on TV.

Idol gives back is always emotional *sniff* I love Jennifer Garner.

Must we watch the peas again? Must we? (i do like the chorus.. but so sick of the peas) The no pants thing really doesn't work for anyone. Gaga included, but I actually do believe it from Gaga. She's created her own image and everyone else is copying that right now. *pants on the ground, pants on the ground*

Queen Latifa's crowd is WAY better. :)

Still need to watch Oliver and Sebastian.

regarding Adam's single sales, these things happen. As my momma used to say, "Brown hair isn't fair" It took me about 18 years to figure out what that meant, but essentially life isn't fair, and we can't really expect it to be. Adam got a huge bump from Idol, and the pimpage - I would have liked that for Kris, but Kris is doing his own thing and has his own opportunities maybe not on Idol scale, but still quite amazing.

Joss Stone is really good, haven't seen her in a long time.

BTW, Casey shouldn't even be in the B3. At least he's competent. It should be Tim, Siobhan, and Aaron, based on last night. I'll give Mike a pass, though he wasn't very good. He's been good sometimes.

I was mainly talking about the color of Kris's clothes! And it's a "veston" in French, so that's why I said vest.

I enjoyed Joss Stone and Jeff Beck.

Hopefully Casey's visit to the bottom 3 (if he's not eliminated... which wouldn't even surprise me) will wake him up. Step it up Casey!

They could've cut George Lopez's number and I wouldn't have been sad.

I'm not really saying that. I know what you mean. What I'm saying is I can't really believe in posts that say, "Yay, Adam you made HISTORY!" and stuff like that. I can't give credit where credit is not due. That's all. It has nothing to do with Kris. I don't think I would have wanted this for Kris. That's how I feel about it now.

I mean, Adam had something to do with it because he was the performer and he had to deliver. But Idol can't follow him around for the rest of his life giving him 90 minute commercials. And the multiple buying doesn't prove anything about his abilty to sell records.

I'm over the fair-not fair thing. I'm just saying I think congratulating him for this is disingenuous.

(If he didn't do those kinds of sales, after all that free publicity, etc., that would be amazing. But that he did it, with all that extra help, is not amazing. It's expected. Just my opinon.)
