It probably doesn't matter what I say now as it's just going to be seen as sour grapes, probably. Maybe it is, I don't know, but I think my point is valid.
The Glamberts just give me a pain. Like, if this had been Kris, you know some of his fans would have ragged on him for it. The Glamberts have no shame at all. Even yesterday, a lot of them were saying Adam should be performing tonight. He just was on for two nights last week! I hate greedy bastards.
I like Tatiana's haircut. I'm surprised they're still giving her free publicity. Maybe I shouldn't be.
This Russell Brand comedy is awful.
Is is un-American to say I can't stand Carrie Underwood's voice? I don't like Idol singers generally. These "powerful" voices that sound so generic and almost electronic, and I don't enjoy listening. She's so nasal it gives me a headache. It's like what Zack Werner said about Kelly Clarkson on World Idol: "shouting with tone." One of my favorite things Zack ever said.

Carrie can sing. Not my type of music - but girls got a voice on her. And she's also a sweetheart. (posted this before I saw what you wrote Ross, not disagreeing with you... her voice isn't for me either)

Yeah. Trouble is, I have a splitting headache, so that didn't help.
Yeah, she has a voice. I'm a little "concerned" that so many "idol voices" can't really sing well, though. She has pipes, anyway. And she seems like a sweetheart, I agree.Cook did a nice job.
Now, why wasn't Kris on this show, again? I think I would rather have had him on this, than the show he did. But I suppose in a way, that was more special. Though he was on the same show as Allison, and followed by Danny, and Matt-Scott...all in the small theatre. Kind of the "season 8 group", early on. Then there was the winner, er, I mean, the runner up, in the big theatre, with the lasers and the fog.
I think Kris would have rather have gone to Haiti and met up with the UN folk. It's more Kris somehow. Plus they didn't have Idol Gives back last year so it was nice for David to get a chance to share his experience. I'd have given up Russel Brand for Kris though.. and George Lopez, and Wanda Sykes. and and and..
Well, Haiti needed the money right then. But it would have been real nice if he could have appeared tonight and talked about what they raised for Haiti, and talked about the UN efforts there. Even on film. I'm kind of surprised they haven't ever mentioned it since.
