Kinda proves why it matters to win AI. But, apparently, they weren't satified that Adam was ahead only in album sales, they had to give him enough free publicity to make sure he could conceivably catch up to or pass Kris in singles sales. Their point being what?

I don't get the reason for marginalizing Kris either and I agree Kris being a success could only help AI. Adam may have passed Kris anyway, but I just don't get the fact that they never mention Kris or acknowledge his accomplishments publicly.

Look who's sitting behind the Biebs at the Juno awards :)

YouTube - Juno Awards 2010

Katie (not Kris's Katy) and Andrew had the same problem on Letterman they've had all season. Song choice - plus - They did not sound good. These people frustrate me this year. lol.

No, I don't think Adam would have passed Kris anyway. I have no reason to suppose that. I'm pretty sure if that were the case we would not have seen him mentoring last week (i. e., guest starring in prime time). The producer of American Idol stated very plainly Adam has not been doing very well, and that they wanted to restore him to the star status they apparently think he had on Idol.

I find it strange that even though the guy came straight out and said the obvious, people think Adam is doing great. I don't believe what I read on Adam-fan-heavy blogs, I believe this guy. he should know. Anyhow, he really didn't have to say it.

As for the non-promo of Kris. I don't get it, but it has something to do with internal company stuff we're not privy to, I'm guessing. They run their business in a weird way. Why would you not want to boast about the success of your Idol winner? Maybe you don't want to piss off the wrong people. [cough] Simon Cowell {/cough]. Some companies are that nutty.

The Adam mentoring stuff I can understand. They sunk money into him and he's not paying off, so they want to make him pay off. Apparently they sunk less money into Kris and so they're less worried. He's probably paying off suprisingly well for what they expected. So, no pimpage required (it costs money, after all). Yes, they could easily have had Kris showcased the way they did Adam, but they don't need to recoup the money they didn't spend on him in the first place.

I have a feeling some people in the organization like him a lot. Others may not.

So, video-gate? You know, I don't blame Kris for posting it, because I didn't find the video offensive, but I knew he would regret posting it when I was watching it. I knew he would get some hate for posting it.... and I actually think he should've known that would happen as well.

ETA: Also, I usually love Kris's sense of humor, but I didn't find that video funny, which was my main problem with it. I've had some loved ones who had problems with compulsive gambling and it's honestly not something to laugh at.

ETA: Just saw MJ's tweet. "Superhuman"? What's that?

Some Chris Brown song. Katie wanted to sing No Air when she was at the Dream House.

and I actually think he should've known that would happen as well.

Yeah, it wasn't the smartest thing to post. Aside from the gambling/wheelchair thing.. the casino booked you for a pretty nice gig this weekend. But I got what he was trying to say when he posted it, just saw how it could be misconstrued.

This person is a sick ****. (Read her Kris Allen tweets.)

There are some people that exist on twitter solely to post horrible things to people. I don't get it. Why waste your energy being mean to someone? Doesn't makes any sense. If you don't like someone.. move on. You will be a happier person for it.

The MTV articles comments are hilarious. As always. Stay crazy people, stay crazy.

and sometimes I just really love Charles. Just sayin'.

I didn't see the video Kris tweeted, so I can't comment. Don't know about what Charles said, either. Really out of the loop on this one.

All I know is that whenever there's good or positive press for Kris, it's usually followed by attacks on his character on the internet, based on some manufactured controversy. (See "gay hat.") Has that ever not happened? Now, for ex., the Glamberts are out, en masse, on MJ's. Like sharks on a piece of meat.

What MTV articles are hilarious?

Yeah, I agree. I think there's a difference though between posting mean stuff, and saying you want to kill someone, repeatedly. I mean this person could be serious. I think there must be some twitter rule against posting threats, or threatening violence against someone.

Nope. You're right. It's manufactured drama. For so much drama to unfold over so little, means there were a lot of people seething about it. Seriously, why not enjoy what Adam's doing? He's doing okay.

Charles pretty much tweeted (well not pretty much - he did) that people with NOH8 logos on their avatars on twitter tweeting death threats to Kris is pretty ironic.

So during all this drama, Kris is talking to the UN Foundation. Seems like a horrible person to me.

As promised, here's @krisallen with our staff in DC. He was i... on Twitpic

You're right - they could be. I think Twitter would lock the account if they complained. Cause.. that is against the law.

The one you posted. And not the article. The comments. Same folk different day. Crazy x 10

So Buble? What do you think? That's my current guess. LOL

He's touring in June. It's a curveball. To me he's cooler than Mayer and I could totally see Michael punching out Mayer. Michael's got a temper.

Anyone know if he's touring with someone?

http://www.michaelbuble.com/tourdates

Okay his opening act is Naturally 7.. ?? Don't know who they are.

They music styles may not mesh.. hmm.. might still be looking..

Hey, if you want one of Kris's guitars, you can bid on it for IGB! It's just been added. I think it's around 900$ now. David has had one of his guitars there too for a few days (it's the guitar he used during the Idol tour) and it's around 6000$-7000$ now!

Michael Buble? Meh.

NOH8?

Oh and I agree about all the manufactured drama, it's tiresome. My opinion is still that he shouldn't have posted that particular video. It's drama he could actually have easily avoided if he had thought about it for a few minutes before hitting "post". Just my opinion.

The show is on...

Is it something new for them to show the audience holding up signs like "Chattanooga loves Siobhan"? I don't remember that last year. I do remember it on CI, of course.
