I still think Kris needs to put the guitar down during CSA.
Hey, wait a minute. I thought you said that it didn't matter to you. (Quite a while ago, but I seem to remember.)

I think a lot about Hedley and I think they're a good model. Kris is basically doing what they did -- actually, his gigs are probably a bit bigger. But they did everything he's doing -- radio sponsored gigs, acoustic gigs (usually the whole band, but sometimes just Jacob and Dave), going far and wide -- often, places other people don't go to a lot.

I stopped watching him perform CSA when he added the guitar. It frustrated me to watch it so I stopped altogether. But I only think he did it without the guitar originally because he hadn't yet learned it on guitar. It was a fluke that it happened to be better that way. He did The Truth without the guitar last time. Interesting. Not the same, of course.Did I? I was so, so wrong. Drop it Kris.
I'm pretty sure that was me!!
ETA: And I'm not even aware of the "gay hat" incident. Not that I necessarily want to know what happened.
Now if we can just get Kris to take his shirt off, pull his pants down, and sing RATM, who knows what the possibilities would be?
(Which is probably a really good thing for me personally).
No one has really delivered a knock out performance yet.
Yeah, I agree, LOL. We can watch and enjoy without all the stress!
About "gay hat" -- I didn't actually see where things exploded. Was it that big a deal? I only saw a few comments on MJ's blog, and those were by the usual farts.
.I’ve been a stalker here for a long time, just now had a reason to comment. Kris was awesome. Very funny and had some great moves! Very bouncy, as was Cale and even Andrew & Chris. A while back someone commented about how different and so great Kris sounds in person, and they were so right. His voice is very strong and clear. Falsettos spot on, and harmonies were gorgeous. Getting the girls up to do AWM was the best. Loved the group hug. One of his 1st comments was “Glad to be back in the South!” Said he had family there, think it’s his grandmother, and he said he’d be back. But can’t decide which song I liked best. Is It Over was too much…Andrew and Cale had a jam session that was un-be-lievable. Glad he did Falling Slowly Mashup, had some changes at the end with harmonies to die for.
I think most of the crowd was there to see Kris. Some left after his set. The “video police” were relentless. I got caught twice, but managed not to get kicked out…one guy did. But One Republic were kick-ass! And gave a great shout-out to Kris. All the band guys, but Kris (he might have been hiding in the backgound), hung around on the edge of the stage to watch One Republic. One time they tried to walk out towards the audience to watch, but guess it didn’t work cause they came back
