Alex tweeted:
Me and @jambajim love star trek. And margaritas.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry about the "????" I only wanted to do one question mark, but a message popped up saying my post was too short, and it had to be at least 4 characters.
Four question marks does seem kind of demanding.

Bwah! Okay I'll explain. Shiny Toy Guns and.. Sia.. and Css (I don't know CSS) but Shiny Toy Guns = awesome and Sia is good too. Their cover versons of Major Tom and Burning for You.. and I can't remember Sia's song right now, but Lincoln used the songs in their commercials and you can download them on their site. And vote on the next band Lincoln will use for their commericials. Kinda cool.... and.. free music. A++ makes me happy.

I don't know why people keep replying to this person, but sometimes when they do they really crack me up. From TWOP posted by Sockpuppet1

"ITA. If he were lucky enough to have an album produced by Mark Bright, then he might not be the lowest selling winner in eight seasons. He may have also been invited to high profile events to promote that album such as the This Is It premiere."

Hee!

...Just kidding. LOL!!! :)

Okay, thanks. I was only slightly baffled. I mean, I figured you just wanted to share the music, but your explanation did make it a lot clearer (and also more interesting), so thanks for 'splainin.

So funny you posted that quote from sockpuppet.

Because I was reading stuff over on TWoP this morning (I guess it was before that was posted) and I said to myself, "I can't read this crap any more, it's driving me crazy." Like, literally, it is. I can't read the word "country" in connection with Kris any longer!!

I actually just read the same looney person's exact same words on some Asian website (I think), in the comments section. "Kris's voice is nothing special. His next album should be country. He has the lowest selling album of all eight Idol winners. He might be better off behind the scenes in the music industry." Blah-de-blah-de-blah.

I was out with friends today and I mentioned this stuff. "That's ridiculous, he isn't country." one of them said. "Not at all. Why would anyone say that?" I then had to explain forums to them, and how there are trolls, etc. and how they operate. They thought it was crazy. They didn't really get the whole "country" angle, and neither do I, actually. Except I guess that, to say someone should be doing something other than what they are doing, is a roundabout way of saying they stink at what they're doing and should try something else.

Anyhow, that quote is hilarious!!! Thanks. I love what this troll makes out to be slights against Kris. Things Adam does get invited to, usually. Isn't it a shame Kris didn't get to go to the This Is It premiere? I mean, poor Adam did go to this premiere, only to find out later that his video, which was supposed to be released with This Is It, worldwide, as a promo for 2012, was pulled, and two cartoons were substituted for it, instead! And then his song bombed, besides. And we're supposed to feel Kris got humiliated??

Anyway, that whole forum has deteriorated into this argument between fans and these trolls, or this troll. I have no idea why the obvious crap-stirrer isn't banned.

Who are these guys? on Twitpic

My picture didn't post earlier, did it? Here it is. ^^ I'm sure you've all seen it by now if you have twitter. (!) Oh, well.

^^I didn't mean to make it sound like TFM was pulled at the premiere. It was later. Or maybe they never intended a wide release for it. Who knows? I just meant the Troll conveniently ignores times Adam has been snubbed or disappointed. New Year's Rockin' Eve is the one I always think of. Anyhow, I'm way sick of the TWoP Kris thread.

I'm still waiting for news about Kris opening (or not) for Keith Urban. If they took the concert dates down from Kris's official website, that's not a good sign, is it? :?:

That official site is really hard to post on. They ought to just have a general forum. It isn't fan-friendly, really. I did post something, but it comfused me. The forum, not my post. :)

Maybe Kris got on another (full) tour, that's all I can think of.

You know, a lot of those tour dates with KU are big places, and I thought that was awesome. I think the Vermont one has over 10,000 capacity. Probably you can sit inside but also on the lawn, like a lot of summer concert venues.

missadicted, has anything been mentioned about the Keith Urban concerts on the David Cook website/forum? Sometimes the most accurate news about Kris seems to come from there.

SleepinIn: I am sad that we get no more Alex. He would have got over the nerves. Stupid voting public.

That would be me. I voted for Alex for about half an hour. Then I voted about that long for Andrew. (I also voted for Lee, and a bit for Casey, but I'm saying I wasted my time voting for Andrew, probably, and should have concentrated on Alex. I was actually not worried about Alex getting through. I was a little more worried about Andrew.)

Last year I rarely divided my votes, I just voted for Kris to make sure he got through.

Heh. Like I have anything to do with it. But, hey, what if someone like Alex lost by a only few votes? It's possible.

Alex's voice really cuts through the pretty bad playing (including his, I think) and singing (other guys), on those old videos I posted (just listened to them again). Potentially, he's a great singer.

missaddicted: Wow, SleepinIn! I bow down to you!

I forget what this referred to, but I want to add: me too!! ;-)

I'll have to check! Haven't been there in days. No time.

LOL! It referred to her finding out who were most of the artists in the video for Wavin' Flag!

I have to run!

I just read on MJ's blog that Gokey performed at Jordan's Furniture in Reading on Friday. This is literally about a mile and a half from my house. I definitely would have gone over there, had I known.

This isn't just a store (or, as the ads say, "It's not just a store, it's an experience"). I mean, they have an IMAX theatre, they have an ice cream parlor, amusements, all kinds of crazy crap. I actually hate the place. Last time I went there, there were trampolines, and I think rope-climbing. It's so freakin' loud in there, you want to off yourself. It's on a lake, and when they opened the place, the lights were so bright they kept the fish awake all night.

Inside the store you have this Vegas-like mock-up of the Massachusetts State House, the Prudential tower, The Customs House, etc. Of course, you could actually see the real things if you drove the 15 miles to Boston. It's not like the Sphinx or the Eiffel Tower.

Here are the crazy trapezes. They have "Trapeze School" where anyone can try the trapeze. A crazy woman I work with who's in her 60's tried it recently.

I just watched the clip of Danny at Jordan's (on MJ's) and one of the first things he says is "My wife, Sophia...who's now in heaven..." I couldn't watch any more. It doesn't look so bad on the page. Maybe it's the way he says stuff. Something about him really turns me off. He's sincere. People get it wrong. I never thought he took advantage of his backstory. It's just that he's embarrassing. I don't exactly know what it is.

Aw, you guys are sweet. I bow down to y'all too!

Jim hanging with Alex's parents and then Alex was funny. I think Jim was adopted by season 8, sort of like a stray pet or something.

Kris's thread at TWOP was locked again. That one troll with a million names - I don't know why they feel so threatened by Kris. It's pretty sad.

And I completely agree Kris's website sucks. It's not user friendly so it's hard to find stuff, the forum is useless. Who designed that?

Oh, and I get why Danny always mentions his wife. She did only pass away last year and he loved her and misses her. But I agree (and I feel coldhearted that I do.. but I do anyway) I don't want it to always be about the dead wife.

Really. Funny thing is, it's a fantastic website, visually. It's gorgeous. But how the heck do you post, there? Or have a real forum discussion? There needs to be a forum like Hedley has. Hedley's used to suck, too. Now they have that "Neurox" type forum (like Idolforums).

Kris's thread at TWOP was locked again. That one troll with a million names - I don't know why they feel so threatened by Kris. It's pretty sad.

I can't tell who's real and who isn't, there, any more. Even that person who supposedly just discovered Kris and thinks he's fantastic seems like a bogus creation. I can't figure out if the pretentious, verbose Poker101 is another variation on the sockpuppets, or a completely different poster who has all the same views but just expresses them in a much wordier way.

I even did a couple of defensive posts. I guess "they" got to me, too.

I don't really know what locking the thread accomplishes. Supposedly people need the time to "cool off." But the same ol' same ol' will just keep happening. It doesn't solve anything.

Kris is very threatening, to some people. If the people happen to be nuts.

Reasons? He's nice, for one. Its hard to pin things on him because he's nice, he doesn't do things for mean reasons, it seems. Also, he's careful and cautious. He avoids traps and holes, most of the time. You can tell that by his interviews. So he's not making many mistakes, with is career, and he doesn't say much that can be held against him. He's also smart as performer and entertainer. He understands his different audiences, and always plays to his strengths. Also, he seems to be able to tell what's right or wrong, crazy or sane, whatever. So he's got good judgement. He also has innate dinity. You just sense he would take some crap, but if you cross a line, he'll just move on. And he's modest enough to be thankful and grateful for everything.

What's not to like? Unless you're someone who would only be happy to see him mess up real bad. Then you could be a very frustrated person, and he'll probably never give you a lot of satisfaction.

Did you hear when he told the cougar kissing story again? And he said when he told his wife she laughed. That's how he knew he was married to the right person. See, stuff like that must frustrate the nuts. Don't really know if I can say why, just know it must.

Oh, it's more what he says, to me. If he said, "My late wife," that wouldn't bug me. But he sounds so creepy, for some reason, when he says she's in heaven. He takes himself so seriously. It comes off badly, for whatever reason. I have no problem with him always mentioning her at all. That's not the issue, for me.

Oh, and the crazies only have one or two things to go after: Kris hasn't sold as many albums as Adam, and he doesn't get some of the publicity opportunities. So that is about it, really. If Kris sold more albums than Adam, they'd have nothing to talk about. (Of course, we know these people are insane Adam fans. Just click on their usernames and see where they post. Like you even need to.) Thank God for them Adam has sold more albums. Or they'd probably have to commit hara-kiri.
