LOL! That cracked me up. He just didn't want to say it either.

He's playing another radio show, and I think that person was at a private show earlier with the station. ??? Maybe..

I didn't know what to make of that Bakersfield crowd. First, when Kris entered, there was the chick sitting on the sofa onstage. Who was kind of insolent when he asked what she was doing there. What was she doing there? It's disconcerting for a performer to come out and find someone sitting on the stage. And then to have to perform with this person there. With your back to them, besides. Not knowing who they are or why they're in your space? Not right.

[Unless maybe that's allowed, there? It must be, since they didn't boot her off the stage. But, if it is, #1, that's odd, and, #2, someone should have warned Kris beforehand.]

Then, when he was encouraging the audience to sing, on AWM, I guess he was saying they weren't into it enough, or something, and some guy yells out, "That's why we're out here and you're up there!" Or something like that. Um, what? Heckling? WTF? Shut the **** up, dude.

I also thought the chick handling the questions from the audience was kind of nasty. To the audience. Like, "Only ONE more question!" She was yelling at them. Seriously.

And did I hear right? Someone there was going to get a tattoo of Kris's name? Were they going to do it there?

Weird place.

Oh, radio contests usually do that. She probably won the grand prize or something.. win front row seats.. on stage.

The radio station stuck her up there with them. Not her fault. lol.

Red Guitar is beautiful with Andrew playing. I love Cale, but Andrew is a better guitarist.

Got home late because I went to see Charlie Winston (and I may be a little bit in love with him... okay, a big bit).

What happened? Seriously? Paige (Paige!!!!), Katie, Lacey and Aaron made it? Tim? (Well, Tim was expected.) Over Katelyn, Alex and Lilly? WHAT? I really liked Katelyn's voice. Then I was in for an even bigger shock when both Alex and Lilly were booted. I was sure both were safe. Lilly even had the pimp spot!

I'll go back to thinking about the Charlie Winston show, it's a happier place.

(Are the Kelly videos all on MJ's? I think I'll have only the time to watch them this weekend... plus the videos from tonight, I guess!)

Another thought. So much for "the year of the girls". It's between Crystal and Siobhan at this point... and maybe Didi if she continues to deliver. Paige, Katie and Lacey have no chance. Well, maybe they do, what do I know? After tonight, it's clear that somebody's voting for them even if they've been mostly awful in the last three weeks.

I meant to say this yesterday but apparently Kris was interviewed at Elton's Oscar party and the segment was on The View a few days ago.

Rather than vote in that Malaysian poll I think I'll vote for Kris on VH1 and I urge you all to do the same (or for Adam, or whoever you want. It's a free country.) So...Toss a few votes Kris's way, if you don't mind.

You may be right about that woman on the couch winning a contest, SleepinIn. (Bakersfield.) I guess the reason I thought it was weird was because usually they would inform the artist that someone who won a contest would be sitting onstage. Also, she wasn't there the whole time, or maybe she moved, because later on there was a completely different woman sitting there. (I get curious about this stuff.)

I agreed with most of Slezak's recap, though not with the Todrick part. I also thought he chose random people to compare, as to why one would stay and the other would go. Alex vs. Aaron, for example. I would have compared Alex vs. Tim, I think.

I tweeted a correction to him (Hm. I'm sure he'll appreciate that). He said something about it being a curse to stand and play keyboards during a song (Katelyn), just ask Matt Giraud (You Found Me) and Kris Allen (All She Wants To Do Is Dance). But Kris didn't play keyboards on that song.

I heard the tattoo thing too. Don't know if it was a joke or not. Hope so.

So I think I'm over the sadness of last night, and ready to rumble again. Idol is a tough show. We forget that every year, and lament the people that could have been (Alex I bought your singles!! That $0.27 is all yours!) To last til the end on this show is an amazing accomplishment and when you think these are the last 20 or so out of thousands. It's just crazy. This masacre might be what this season needed to get people talking about Idol.. cruel.. but maybe true? (I'd still really love all 4 people back) But we haven't even gotten to the top 10. There is a lot of room for growth still and that's always fun. (please don't let Bow-er-sox get masacred) and this bodes well for me not following the tour.

I wonder what the Kris segment on the View was? Did you hear anything else?
