and I can see DJ's getting vote fatigue. It always seems to happen with Idol folk. That's why LLWD is such an interesting case. Little ninja song.

ETA: and seriously Idol fans stop tweeting crap to family, friends, and potential song colaborators.

Yeah, seriously. I expressed my dismay for the new collaborators on twitter but I certainly didn't tweet them or David (@ replied them). I didn't even put "David Cook" in my tweet so that he wouldn't see it. I don't understand the behavior that these people had. I know it's only a few people, but they shed a negative light on the whole fandom.

Haha. Now here I actually thought Adam was in his element. (Well, he was, but that's not how I meant it.) How did the audience sound, to you?

Um, I don't know, they sounded like they'd sound for anybody. I guess that is what surprised me. I kind of expected the special Adam Lambert response. I don't know.

That reminds me, for some reason. Talking to one of my friends today and it turns out he likes Amber Pacific a lot (Jesse Cottam's band). I never knew that we both liked AP, but it just never came up before.

I was thinking of saying something supportive about Adam in Sydney on the thread about it on MJ's but . . . it's kind of like interrupting. They're in their own little world. Talking about codpieces and panty lines.

Some of them are joking about how to seduce him. One says they could get him drunk, Another says:

"Haha- don’t worry, I’ve got it all figured out… I can lure him with my little brother who’s a very pretty boy (he would absolutely be appalled if he knew I was writing about him like this now… but he’s a poor student- so he’ll do it if I pay him enough…buwahaahhaha), and when he isn’t looking (and a few beverages in) we’ll switch places… he won’t have anywhere to run!!!"

Kind of disturbing! Maybe alcohol was being consumed.

I found this on YouTube . . . apparently somebody took video of that Malaysian live stream off their computer screen. (Check the user for more.) The sound isn't great, seeing as it's being taped off the computer speakers.

Be sure to watch the first video as there's a short interview bit, and patter with the audience.

That's so weird watching that woman talking into her fist, without a mic!

The Meet Ball! Oh, yeah, baby! No wonder they were so loud when he was singing. Not really a "concert atmosphere." lol

That woman wanting to use her brother as bait reminded me of that movie where the guy uses his aunt, Katharine Hepburn, for bait to lure teenage boys, then when she gets too old, he uses his sister, Elizabeth Taylor. Trouble is the boys end up killing and eating him, and because Liz witnessed it, Kate wants to have her lomotomized. Good times!

Beware, Adam fans. Don't let this happen to you!

I seem to have gone off on a tangent. lol That's the plot of Suddenly Last Summer.
That woman on MJ's wanting to use her brother to attract Adam just reminded me a lot of this picture, where a guy had used his mother and then his cousin to attract boys (in a seaside village in Spain), and the boys get tired of being used one day. I never quite understood why they ate him, but I guess it was symbolic revenge. The prey became the predators. *shudders* (And then his mother is in total denial about it all, so to keep the niece quiet about what she saw, she claims the niece is crazy and tries to get her a lobotomy, to "cut these hideous lies out of her brain." Hey, it is Tennessee Williams.)

I'm sort of confused by Slezak's remarks that Alex needs to sit down and recite lyrics (as if he has no connection to his lyrics). I've heard stuff like this from other people.
I don't think he has a problem with that at all.

On the other hand, though I like his voice, it doesn't thrill me.
