Ah yes, the ill-advised single. WRONG!!! I always thought it was a great choice for a single. Especially given the time frame.

I disagreed too - But it cracked me up completely. After watching the first 1/2 hour of AI, I remember that I don't like auditions all that much. :/

Kris and David look nice in the background though.

and who needs Simon? Kara can totally be the mean one.

Blurry Andrew, Blurry Torres, and Ryland in an awkward position, zero Cale (what's that about?) but Kris looked nice.

Can't wait to see the commercial though!!
(is it weird that might be my highlight??)

Just saw the commercial. And heard Alright With Me...but wasn't it a different version? Was that the whole commercial?

It sounded acoustic.

I don't see David in the background, but I don't have a widescreen TV. Kris is the only one visible on the old standard screen. And very visible - it's like he's dueting with the auditioners, practically.

I don't know who Luke Shaffer is. You guys aren't going to expect me to pay attention and remember people's names, are you? Geez. Whataya want from me?

Ashley (thinner, older Jordin Sparks)...this is the type they always love. Very polished, good voice, looks like she stepped off of an album cover. But I don't like that kind of singing, much. What is that genre? Is that a genre?

These Boston auditions are funny because some of these kids are from towns really near me. Lisa Oivera from Billerica. Billerica has a kind of reputation. I can't explain it, you have to live here.

They dipicted the Boston tea party by showing a barrel of tea being thrown off the Mayflower (the replica of the Mayflower that's actually in Plymouth). Not right, just not right.

Luke Shaffer was the red-head guy with the black hat. He was playing the Matt Nathanson song in the audition room with two other guys.

I agree with you about Ashley. I was so bored with her.

You can't see David on a regular screen? That's weird, sometimes, he's not that far to the right!

Yeah, Victoria isn't too annoying, but she's not saying much.

I liked Psycho Andrew. He looked a little like early Matt Good. Livin on the edge. I enjoyed his anger. Matt would totally be pissed off too if he had to wait in the rain. (although that would be a different day right?.. so confusing) LOL

Codzilla + ticket = No. He was cute though.

Isn't that Justin from White Choc-o-late? He gets my *pretend* vote just for being in White Chocolate.

Yeah, Justin was the other guy from White Chocolate. Kind of schmaltzy. But kind of pretty (he is pretty, his voice, I'm not so sure yet) as well.

I'm so over the 16 years old girls. Can't they find good girls in their 20's? The 16 yo are always so young, so precocious (even if they have touching back stories). I can't connect with a 16 yo.

Matt Nathanson is watching the show and just tweeted about the guys singing his song. "The day has come!" He's such a funny guy.

Yeah, I read that the White Chocolate guy was re-auditioining...but which one was he?
