Oh, the bald guy is Daughtry. I couldn't figure that out. Wonder why he (Salas) was in Miami with Kris? To work with him and the band?
I agree with a lot of what he writes about Kalan. I know you guys aren't too into Kalan, and I've kind of lost some interest in him myself, after coming to appreciate him a while back. I think part of my disinterest comes from frustration with various things. Mainly I don't think he performs enough. I have no idea how much he's kept in some kind of box by this label and management, and maybe it's not his fault. But I think performers should perform, and I'd like to see him being more accessible. And being more down to earth as a performer (like playing small venues, playing anywhere, just being seen and heard). As a person I think he's very down to earth, and very accessible, doing meet and greets for hours, etc. But as a performer I think they just want him to be sort of above the regular scene, and... I don't know. I don't like it, it seems too "old" to me, and too dull. Like, sexless and squeaky clean. Which I pretty much happen to know is not what he's like. So this is frustrating.
This contract he's got can't last forever, right? They don't own him for life? So can't he break away, get with a good label, and do whatever the heck he wants? Oh, well, that's easy for me to say. I don't know the situation at all.
