I picture Glamberts getting together drinking cosmos and martinis, with long cigarette holders and leopard coats, voting like fiends

I tried to look at Britney's website just now. (Never, ever thought I'd be typing those words.) I couldn't. Will try later.

The Dead Swans will be playing in Boston Nov. 5. I heard a story about them the other day. From the guy who knows them. Last time they were here, they and another band (local) and the guy telling the story, and a few other guys, were hanging out in Harvard Square. They had ice cream, and one of the D.S.'s ended up throwing his hot fudge sundae at a car. The driver stopped the car and got out and started to come after them. Then when he saw what these guys looked like, he got back in the car and drove away.

I'm too old for this stuff. But who knows, I may go to see them.

I'm watching Sebastian on Being Erica right now. I've said this before, but he's a really good actor. He has real star power on screen, plus he also sang.

I'm watching Sebastian on Being Erica right now. I've said this before, but he's a really good actor. He has real star power on screen as an actor. He also sang. :icon_smile:

I just watched it too! The episode was great! And yes, Sebastian is great, but I'm having a bit of trouble imaging him as "Kai" and not as himself. I don't think it's his acting though, I think it's just me. Well, I don't think he's a great actor just yet, some of his reactions seem a bit forced, but in general, he's solid.

Did you see that drama he did for the discovery channel? The one where he played a fisherman? It was that hokey tv-style dialogue, but he made it work.
Yeah, I thought he was excellent! His voice is really odd, but it has this strangled compelling sound. And he kind of reminds me of Montgomery Clift.

It was at a show last saturday some guys I know went to. (They aren't that young, either.) The band was FYI and the opening band was Gallows. This was the Gallows set. I guess at Hampton Beach casino they have a circular pit people run around in. I won't see my friend until next week so I guess I'll ask him them.

This is it, it's a really old building where the big bands used to play. It's all wood inside. It's across the street from the beach. (I've been to shows there but there wasn't a mosh pit at those shows.)

I definitely agree missaddicted. He's solid. He's still pretty raw, but he's got real star potential.

He actually looked really young in Being Erica. Like younger than he did on CI. He's playing a guy that's 22. So that's younger than he actually is, isn't it? Isn't he 24 or 25?

Oh, I didn't know it was his song - I wondered though. I wasn't blown away either, but when they played it again later it sounded better. I'll have to check it out.

Isn't he 24 or 25?

He was 25 on CI summer before last, and since I know from his website he's an Aquarius (like me. And Adam Lambert. Or am I a Pisces? I forget. I'm on the cusp. But I digress), that means he turned 26 in February. So he's almost 27.

(I think that was a typical ross sentence. Right there.)

Should we expect more Kai-Erica romance? I was expecting it and I'm still expecting it for the future...

I hope so. I find Ethan a bit boring (sorry Ethan, you are pretty - I sort of want your wife to come back.. and if you meddle enough in the past.. hey it might happen) I have a suspicion about Kai though after tonight. But Erica and Kai have chemistry!

So they showed Adam and his video on ET tonight. (not all of it) but enough to make me do this. 8O8O8O8O8O8O This song will be huge but - wow - Adam is so much better than this song or video.

They also talked about 2012 getting a lot of buzz as a big movie coming out.. and my thought is the only reason it's getting buzz is because of Adam. For me the movie looks like dreck.

I'm sure the movie itself has a lot of buzz. Not critical buzz. Just "will bring in the big bucks" buzz. Just the kind of brainless dreck that makes a lot of money these days...

I'm not sure I want to see the video. Is it really that bad?

It's okay. Just a lot of explosions and stuff. lol It's up though if you want to see it. Watch your head though, something might fly off the screen and get you. (Why no 3-D ?)
