Yeah. Let's get on touch with him somehow. I don't do facebook. Do you? Can we drop him something on facebook? Or even his parents.

I used to be amazed at how lousy Kalan's official website was. It was beautiful (also orange and black -- what's with those colors?), but so out of date. The "unofficial website" seemed much more popular. Now they've merged. I really think that Jive shouldn't ignore grass roots movements. Look at Hedley's website, which for a long time wasn't very good to look at but was very active and up to the minute. With a lot of interaction with the guys in the band, who you could always post messages to, and they often answered. And Dave Rosin did a lot of video messages about where they'd be playing, etc. (I don't know if this is happening as much, now they're established.)

I think a family member getting involved is a good idea. This is I believe what happened to some extent with Kalan's unofficial forum, since it was called the Family Forum, I think. But it's also possible they want their own life, and not to be identified with the famous relative all the time, but, hey, you never know.

ETA: Wow, just read that post you posted. Seemed they still haven't gotten any satisfaction from Jive.

Assume you're a new fan of Kris and you go on Google and see that link to his official website. It ought to take you to something really interesting, fun, and exciting.

I think maybe through the site itself might be best. Daniel might actually like to have his own life. lol He's got the energy (and if he wanted to - he might be great at it) but I'm not suggesting that anyone take over that for Kris. It's got to be Kris and or his management that implement anything anyway. His family can suggest til they are blue in the face and they won't get anywhere without that.

Well, Hedley (or someone related to Hedley is still updating since they have the previews of the singles up each week) Kris should do this too.. I guess he has to pick the singles for the album first....

But removing that horrible picture would be a good start ('cause I hate it) especially since they have some nice photos from the photoshoot to play with now. It looks so stiff and formal.. and so not Kris.

Funny that the Montréal station that plays LLWD is considered HAC. I thought for sure they were Top 40/CHR. But I haven't been listening to them in a while (and not since they changed from Mix96 to Virgin).

Yes! That's good. I wish it would start jumping as rapidly as it fell, but only 27 spots and it's back in the top 100. Then look out, baby! It would be cool if it picked up around the time of the album dropping. I'm not worried about it he said.

He split with my mom when I was 6 and is remarried with 3 adopted kids and 4 foster kids. It was from September, missaddicted, so who knows? If his life ever slows down maybe he'll get to read the messages on his MySpace.

I read a hilarious (to me) post on mj's today. The person wrote they were going to give Kris a few more weeks to make it (in the industry)! I thought that was really generous! Yeah, if this extremely talented guy who is only 24 years old doesn't hit it big by next month, it's all over.

SleepinIn, that map of stations playing LLWD is awesome!! I missed it the first time I looked at your post, I don't know why. Both the big Top 40 station and the Hot AC station in Boston are playing it!! Yaaaay!!! It just hasn't been added yet.

I haven't heard it on Mix104.1 (WBMX), yet I've heard Heartless several times recently. I don't listen to KISS108 (WXKS), but I may have to, now. (I listened to that station a lot, waiting to hear No Boundaries, back in May and June. Never did. But I got tired of their music. Mix104.1 plays some of the same music but has more variety.)

Two stations in BC are playing it, in Kelowna and Vernon (but have not added it).
Montreal is the only other station in Canada currently playing it (that we know of), and the only one that has added it.

So, maybe my streak of shows is not over after all... I just saw that Florence + The Machine will be in Montréal on November 1st and hey rosetta, December 3rd. The shows are like 15$, I think it's worth it!

LOL at Kris posting the picture of his carved pumpkin on Twitter. I'm amazed that he even has the time to do that!

I just voted. I tried voting in all the other categories as well, but I didn't know what to choose in some of those! I voted for Kris in the breakthrough artist category (it's a bit weird since neither him nor Adam have an album out yet), but I also added in David Cook in that category and in the male artist category, which is what the Cook fans have been doing en masse since this afternoon.

Ooh! Just read that Joss Whedon will direct an episode of Glee that will air in the spring. Yay for that combination!

I figure just vote for the people you want to get it. No sense in giving the other people any free votes, lol. I couldn't choose a female movie actress. I didn't like their choices.

and Josh Whedon and Glee? Could the show get any better? I think not. That's pretty awesome. Did you see the Sweet Caroline clip on youtube? I think I'm in love.. lol It is awesome.

Have any questions for Kris? Jennifer White (whitejennifer) on Twitter is interviewing him tommorrow.

And Kris is in the top 10 for adds today too (10 adds! yay!)

I didn't see the Sweet Caroline clip. I'm trying not to watch them so that they're fresh when I watch the show!

Tomorrow night is Sebastian's first big episode of Being Erica, it's great. I really like the show, it's so easy to identify to Erica I guess.

And yay for the adds!

Mr. Lambert is also up for that? Why should we even bother to vote? I'm sure the Glamberts will be enlisting the Kalan ladies and the Theo ladies and the fans of Annette Funicello and everyone else to vote for Mr. Lambert. How does the kid who won Idol stand a chance?

I don't know! I just have an online chat thing at the bottom right of my screen. You click on it and the name of your friends will appear and if the circle is green, you can click on their name and chat.

The forum looks different to me today. And the chat option was not there before... Am I the only one who sees it? I don't know, I had to log back in a few forums today, even though I didn't erase the cache or whatever and if I put the "recognize me" options. After I logged back in here, I could see the chat option.

Doom and gloom - can you imagine for a song that's been released like 3 weeks? It's hilarious. I was reading a radio person's blog and the songs he was talking about in August well they are just hitting the top ten now. Months later.
