You don't want to write a little summary (*please!*). I'm a bit short on time. And I'm not looking for all the tiny details, just an overview...

You like Kris's voice more? Yay.
Ha! I thought me talking about Kris day and night would make that pretty much a given, lol.

So what evidence is there that Adam is an artistic genius? Because I don't think it has anything to do with him not being my thing. If someone says, as a singer, he's a brilliant singer, as a performer, he's exciting or excellent, fine. But "artistic genius", about all sorts of other things like the concept of his album art, and set and stage design, etc., well, I guess I'd need to see the proof first. Just saying.
Well, before declaring him a genius he does have to actually put out an album. I'd wait for that at least - I agree with you there. But he does have a great voice, so I have to give Adam that.

Quick overview..

Kris interview at Q102 link to audio

Kris performed

at Seton, sang Britney's
Hit Me Baby One More Time played Viola (!) with a student, did some
school dance,

This was an unpaid appearance, and the DJ's at the radio show really appreciated him taking all the time he did and all the press he did, One of the members of Kris's band is Cale (his friend) from Arkansas that he auditioned with..

still reading..

Sound is good on this LLWD (and you get a glimpse of viola)

With that bass player this guitar player and Kris, it's shaping up to be a good looking band.

missaddicted, sorry I didn't have time to recap, I was only in work for two hours today. Had a little foot thing done today at the doctor's office this morning and am now "resting comfortably." lol

Sleepinin, thanks for finding the videos! So is the Bosom Ball in full swing at the moment?

(Funny, the similarities between Kris and Kalan -- other than they both are Idol winners whose names begin with K. Both viola players, and both having breast cancer awareness as a favorite cause.)

Oh, feel better Ross.

and I know what you mean about grinning ear to ear. Nothing like seeing Kris perform to cure the anxiety, lol.

Hey, guys, don't you think this was a nice little preview of what a Kris Allen concert might be like? The mood, I mean. It was really relaxed and fun, and somehow different from the AI concert. It was a Kris Allen concert. I never really saw one of those since he became the Idol, and I like it.

I loved how he performed the songs!!

Any black people in that school? [ETA: yeah, when I look at the whole photo album, there are a few black girls.]

Yeah, see my 'ETA." I looked through the photos. My mistake!

Yes, that peace sign/guitar pick is nice. I gave him a baseball and a Red Sox hat. Wonder where they are now? lol

Last night, when I was reading those posts, on that blog, there were comments about Kris's jewelry. I guess some people seemed to think the things around Kris's neck, on his album cover, were just hung on him by other people, for the photo shoot. He's actually wearing a necklace that he wore earlier in the tour, and the peace sign pendant that he wore later on the tour. It was his own stuff. But nobody seemed to know that.

I think Kris prefers it that way, doesn't he?

Yeah, Kris is so comfortable up there. On the tour I got a sense of his being a little hemmed in by "performing in the AI show" and not being able to do exactly what he wanted, when he wanted. I mean, even from minute to minute. It was kind of like being in a musical. Now he can just be who he is. Some performers have to be their own boss. Now he is. I mean, onstage. He can run the show. You can just sense the comfort and relaxation. And why did he remind me occasionally of the young Elvis? The intensity and the fun -- and the moves. Not that the moves are similar, but what's similar is being posessed by the music and doing almost involuntarily sexy moves. Very cool.

True, he does let the music take over doesn't he? It makes it so fun to watch. I'm really glad Cale is going to be in Kris's band too. Although he tweets less than Kris, we'll never know anything, lmao. But it's good to have someone you really trust with you.
