And in Cincinnati tommorrow, Kris has a busy day, He's doing a radio interview at the station at 9:30 and then the School show at 10:30, and then he does the pre-show, and then the Bosom Ball. I'm excited for him! (note the ! = excited)

Eric's pictures are unbelievable. I'm so thrilled that Kris had him for the photoshoot. Like seriously, Kris's pictures might be the nicest ever on an Idol album. Allison's are pretty awesome too. Jive done good by the kids.
Don't know if this is really Mike Elizondo.. but it's newsy.

Where did you see Allison's photos, SleepinIn? Not that I'm dying to see them, but I was surprised that they were not posted on MJ's blog (as far as I know).
Glee was indeed hilarious. It's rare that I laugh out loud while watching a TV show, but this one definitely does it!

Four upbeat songs? That's a bit of news. What's considered upbeat? Is I'm Yours considered an upbeat song, for ex.? I like Kris when he's sort of mellow. I guess you can be upbeat and mellow. (Like I'm Yours). But to be honest I don't want too many songs in the LLWD vein.
I heard Heartless on the radio again, earlier tonight. Have you listened to that version lately? When it came out I was disappointed it wasn't acoustic, but for radio it's perfect. I actually prefer him singing a song like this, to LLWD. He's an emotional singer -- it can be happy or sad, but I like when he's a character in the song, and he's singing about how he feels, or an experience. LLWD is a good song but it's not personal. You don't get a sense of his involvement. So it doesn't work on all levels for me as a great Kris song.

The Walmart soundcheck thing, will it be only an interview? Performances from the tour? New performances? I remember David did one last year when his CD was released, he performed 4 or 5 songs on a soundstage somewhere and they put it online, but I haven't watched any others, so I'm not sure what they usually do.

Really? What kind of in-fighting? I couldn't wade into MJ's tonight - had to watch Glee (and that Michelin man photo was just weird -- I don't know about the context, but that photo was just plain odd)

Oh, I don't know. Not really in-fighing, I guess. Probably inevitable that when they don't have fans of a lot of other idols around (especially when it's an Adam thread) they'll start on each other. Some people think Michelin Man looks ridiculous and others defend Adam as an artist who has a vision.

Well the eyeshadow, and the clothes don't make him an artistic genius. But that doesn't mean he isn't an artistic genius.
I know he's not your thing, but he's a talented guy, there's no doubt about it. I don't know if I'd crown him king or put his picture on the money or anything...but he has a powerful voice. I just like Kris's voice more.
This was more about the Michelin Man stuff and how we must trust him about the album art because he's a great conceptual artist, etc.

So what evidence is there that Adam is an artistic genius? Because I don't think it has anything to do with him not being my thing. If someone says, as a singer, he's a brilliant singer, as a performer, he's exciting or excellent, fine. But "artistic genius", about all sorts of other things like the concept of his album art, and set and stage design, etc., well, I guess I'd need to see the proof first. Just saying.
I've been in theatre, and I've actually designed sets, just community theatre, no huge thing, but it's really a lot of work and commitment, etc. If Adam says, "What if I came out and had a spot on me when I sing this?" that doesn't make him a lighting designer. I just don't like when people are willing to give him credit when it belongs to a lot of other people.
Like his Mad World on Top 2 night. I doubt very much he did anything except suggest stuff, or more likely just approve the ideas other people had, but he gets all the credit.

As for that blog, there was a side discussion about Adam tweeting some praise of Drake's art work, and someone praised Adam for tweeting about Kris's and Allison's singles, and how he's a generous friend that way and some people don't necessarily return the favor.
I thought it referred to Kris and Allsion, pretty sure it did, and it made my blood boil (once again: must.not.read.those.comments.ross.)...
I mean, who has praised Adam more than Kris? As I ended up posting (I know, I know): you can't get much more supportive than saying "Adam deserves this" when you just won AI.

So is he going to perform LLWD live for the first time tonight? Is he performing solo? How many songs is he doing? I guess I haven't heard much about that event, except from what you've written here, so I'm curious about the details. Did he perform at a school this morning? Who was invited to the ball, is it open for everyone?
