Thanks for reminding me about Jimmy Fallon. I forgot about that. You guys...your stuff is too good. I have to do the dishes and clean up around here! Not getting anything done. Ha. Jamie Foxx is on Letterman. Wonder if he'll mention anything about AI. Going to watch it now.

I loved the question about the Ukelele in the other article - and I laughed when he said he played. It's typical. He's just as interesting as Adam, it's just quieter.

Hey, I think he played uke on that Over The Rainbow performance we heard months ago, right?

Splash: Arrgh, I hate when they say stuff like, "...and despite claims that the outcome was rigged..."

Where are you guys finding all this video?

ETA: I wish they didn't have to rush out his album. When he said he wouldn't have much time to contribute to it or write the songs...I don't know. Do you guys think he should just trust these people? (Does he have much choice?) He's so laid back. I hope he can push himself into it as much as possible. (I hope Kara doesn't write the songs.) Anyhow, what do you think, support group?

Support group? LOL. That sounds oddly right and wrong both at the same time...

About Kris' album. I saw Adam's Idolatry interviews too (loved them, finally some questions about the music and not the unnecessary stuff) and he was really confident that he would have a lot of freedom for his CD, etc. I wish Kris feels the same. I mean, Cook's album was rushed as well last year, but he has co-written all the songs on his CD, except two (the two singles incidentally). I don't see why Kris couldn't do the same. On the TV Guide interview, he said that he wanted to have as much control over it as he could, so I hope he does have that ability to put his foot down and say exactly what he wants, which is probably what Adam did.

BTW, Cook co-wrote with Kara last year. The song(s) just didn't end up on the CD. Cook called her a "great musical mind".

Just watched Fallon, that was awesome.

It was! I love Jimmy Fallon as well, and all the "All She Wants to Do Is Dance" stuff was really funny! He hadn't watched Idol at all for sure, but I didn't care that much. And Kris' Heartless performance was perfection.

Props to Adam for the Today Show interview. Giving props to Kris for his talent and saying he deserved to win. Telling people to relax and let go of the cocnspiracy theories.

Also, MJ posted that now the rumor is that Adam came out to Rolling Stone magazine and they're going to make a big deal out of it. I mean, on one hand, I don't see why he would have to come out, it's not like everybody doesn't know already. On the other hand, I have to give him his due. He knows what he has to do to keep himself in the spotlight. When the story comes out, the media will only talk about that. Well, if it can make them forget about the AT&T controversy, then I guess it's all good!

It's funny, Kris was asked if he was excited to go home a bit (on The Today Show I think) and he said that he was and would enjoy going back to his appartment and getting away from all the chaos. Adam was besides him and I could almost tell that his answer would have been: "Going home? Are you crazy? I can't get enough of all this attention!". Anyway, this wasn't a judgement. I just think Adam is really at home surrounded by all this attention.

Oh, the Fallon Heartless -- It was amazing. Bless your little heart Jimmy Fallon. It sounded so, so good. Jimmy looked thrilled.

I finally watched Adam's Idolatry videos and he's just a really interesting guy too. I really like the attitudes of both Kris and Adam.. oh, it's about the music.. well how novel. Everyone keeps saying how different they are, but they are actually a lot alike too.

To me yes - Adam is already out. He's never really been in during this competition - has he? (never fully out to the media - but never in) But Rolling Stone? That's good press and Adam knows how to deal with the media.

(and random CI news.. Oliver tweeted that Sebastian is going to be on Being Erica's season 2 - kinda excited about that - lol)

And the pink hair bet at Idolotry? Waaaaaaay better than the bet that our local DJ lost when Kris won. He had to get a piercing.. in a certain location.

I watched it.. kinda wished I hadn't.

So ever wonder if Kris is a "boxers or briefs" kind of guy? Now you have the answer.

Heh!

Wow, Sebastian on Being Erica. Good for him! I hope it's a recurring role. I've never watched, but I might start!

Briefs. Good man.

The Adam Lambert interview. Something very subtle, maybe I'm imagining it: I thought Michael S. seemed a bit stiff and uncomfortable. You can tell when he really likes one of the contestants, he just relaxes. I don't think he disliked Adam but I think he was still deciding. Probably I'm just projecting my feelings onto Slezak.

The Adam fanatics were all: "Best. Interview. Ever." But not all of us are as fascinated with the career path or the performance arc or whatever. If he'd have talked about the other Idols without being asked to, for example, I might have enjoyed it more. He talks about himself a lot.

It's funny, Kris was asked if he was excited to go home a bit (on The Today Show I think) and he said that he was and would enjoy going back to his appartment and getting away from all the chaos. Yeah, he really is. I think both guys have dreamed of being stars, but Adam was beginning to think it wouldn't happen for him. I think he's savoring every moment. I also think he was less than happy with his life as it was playing out, and probably is eager to leave it behind. It's like a rebirth, for him. (And he's just an attention hound.)

Kris is more laid back, though I thought he had a blast on his homecoming visit, loving the attention, etc. And he's said he used to dream of performing for big adoring crowds so I'm sure he loves that. Publicity tours, probably not too much.

And sure he misses his home, he's happy there, he's a newlywed who's barely been there since he's been married. And he's not an attention hound. Though he obviously likes to perform in the spotlight, and get his music heard. Offstage he's just a different person and likes to fly under the radar.

Sorry, kind of falling asleep, here. Talk to you guys later.

No, not just you. I also thought Slezak was a bit off, but he still laughed a lot. We'll see how he reacts to Kris (and Danny!), I guess. Maybe he was intimitated by Adam, LOL! [Adam fantard] OMG, of course he was, Adam is the most amazing man that has ever lived and he's accomplished so much. He's so gorgeous, Slezak must have been like that because he was trying with all his might to resist jumping on him [/Adam fantard]. Heh.

All kidding aside, I thought it was a really interesting interview, and I didn't think it was wrong that Adam talked a lot about himself, the interview was about him after all!

Funny! I'm still laughing. Thanks. Oh, yeah: and I think there's some truth to it. I just didn't want to say that. I wanted you to say it! Ha. I sensed he was a little drawn to Adam, and also maybe a little put off. Attracted/repulsed? Nothing more powerful, right? The stuff of romance novels. Michael, you need to take a cold shower and chill, girlfriend. Next thing, you'll be writing on mj's blog and calling yourself LambertLover, or Adamsbeeyotch.

Kris should be interesting because Michael already has admitted having the hots for him, but there's no chance for him, there, I'm afraid.

Think I need to get a life.

If you get a life - can I get one too?

Why not? There are no boundaries! Sing it, sister!

Listening to your link...wow, Kris is going to be getting a lot of pink thongs, I think. Kris: "Me and Danny are as different as me and Adam." Finally!

I'm waiting for Best Week Ever on VH1, at 11pm. Kris and Adam are supposed to be on it doing some comedy.

The show is on now. Wow. Kris is acting! I love it. This is funny!

So, Susan Boyle=Adam Lambert? So much hype, media attention, and "OMG she's going to win", but then, oups, no, she lost.

Kris and Adam on Best Week Ever? Hilarious. "Yeah, capes!"

Slezak decided to finish with the best and posted Danny's Idolatry interview first and I'm almost glad he did (but I can't wait to see Kris' interview!). The guy is so inarticulate and pretty dull. He can't seem to stop talking, but he isn't saying anything! And he fully admitted to not knowing anything about popular music, he was so in over his head on the show.

WNTS posted the second part of their "Allen's Wrench" editorial, I have to go read that...

**noooooo boundari-ie-s** lol

The best week ever was hilarious. I'm glad it was posted on youtube since we are barred from viewing the secrets of VH1. That's one of the best thing about AI Idol. Everything will turn up on Youtube eventually. It's a good thing.

Eep. Poor Susan Boyle. Over hype can kill ya I think and I do think that it did hurt Adam, people see the big flash then wonder about what's the next flash. I never saw any of the other acts that were up against Susan Boyle so I don't know if she was the person I would have voted for, but I figure with a 100 million views on youtube she will be busy for years to come if she wants to be.

I liked Danny's Idolotry videos, he was pretty frank about the competition and his strengths and weaknesses and it was good to hear his views. I still don't think I'll ever buy his CDs but it's good to humanize him again, lol.

I can't wait until Kris's airs.. when, when, when.

Best Day ever... I don't know if I did or not.. must investigate. I didn't know there were two shows. I must. watch. everything.

I really liked the Huckabee interview and Yesterday performance. A little taste of home for Kris.

Did you guys see Kris and Adam on Best Day Ever, as well as Best Week Ever? Because the Best Day Ever stuff was actually funnier.

Was that when he was singing Apologize over and over again? If that's it, then yes I've seen that too. Also hilarious! "Yeah, capes!" is my favorite though!

Yeah, that was the one where he sang Apologize. lol

I just read part two of Allen's Wrench. It made me laugh when it mentioned his "brass ones." I thought the same thing. I also remember in rock week when Slash asked Kris (kind of incredulously) if he was going to play electric guitar on Come Together and he just said, "Why not?"

Slezak decided to finish with the best and posted Danny's Idolatry interview first and I'm almost glad he did (but I can't wait to see Kris' interview!). The guy is so inarticulate and pretty dull. He can't seem to stop talking, but he isn't saying anything!

Yeah, he went through about two segments of the interview before I felt he finally started saying something.

And he fully admitted to not knowing anything about popular music, he was so in over his head on the show.

I suspected that, but I was still kind of shocked when he said it. To me, it means his dream was never to be a pop singer. Why would you want to be on American Idol if you don't want to be a pop singer?
