Canadian Idol Fans Watching American Idol

Since I can't vote anyway.. I'm okay with what happens - that doesn't mean I wouldn't be really happy if Kris won - cause I totally would - and I would be more likely to buy a Kris Cd than an Adam Cd, but they both win really - one gets the streamers and the record deal and disneyworld - the other doesn't have to sing the Kara song 
I do prefer Kris over Adam, but I do love Adam as well. If I could, I would definitely vote for Kris. I don't know, I guess I don't want to have expectations for tomorrow. No expectations, no disappointment. At least, I think both are deserving and I wish both success. On a more selfish note, I hope that they do invest in Kris and try to promote him and not saddle him with bad songs. I just want him to get to make a great CD and many more after that, whether he wins or not.
ETA: OR what SleepinIn said. Except they probably will both get a record deal and they will have their faces at Disneyworld, since I'm pretty sure it's the top 5 from every year who gets to record a message for the AI attraction or something like that.

Simon was full of crap about What's Goin' On (Kris). It was totally the wrong song for the last night of the competition but he was fine. I think he was pushing a little, trying to make it into something. Just don't see the need for these Simon Fuller songs...you have to wonder if he watches the show at all. I could have picked better songs for these two guys out of a hat.

Oh, I know, it's just that SleepinIn was talking about her possible Twitter assistants. But, it's Paula, so it shouldn't be surprising that she makes that many mistakes.
Wow! It's busy. I wish DialIdol was working. I guess they must have had so much traffic.
I know right! Maybe the studio versions are better (yeah right).
Simon Fuller is Carrie's manager as well as Cook's, so I guess he must have somewhat of an interest in the potential winner!
ETA: DI is back. They're neck and neck. At this point last year, Cook had already started pulling ahead of Archie by a pretty good margin on DI.
Tomorrow's going to be a long day! I just want to watch the results show right now (and not only because we'll know the results), even though I should just go to bed!

Well, Kris has been slightly ahead in DialIdol results all along, but it's definitely not that huge margin you were talking about. GeoPredictions also seems to have him ahead. Whatever.

It's about 7:00. I'm watching the live feed from the red carpet, on Fox ch. 11 in LA. Right now it's just people milling around! I think that's David Archuleta over there...
I'll definitely do the "live" thing with ya. Sounds like fun! Expect delays as I'll be multitasking -- other stuff I need to do around here. Okay, going to watch Archie. Looks like he didn't dress up.

Kara was just interviewed, now it's Ace Young. Nobody had the guts to ask Kara how she could have made those guys sing that crappy song last night. I really feel that TPTB ought not to make whoever wins release that single. It's not fair to start them out with such a handicap.

Simon is now on, with Randy. The interviewer said, "There was round 1, round 2, but you never said what round 3 was last night." Simon: "There was no way to judge that. Those two songs were..." Interviewer: "What? Say it." Simon: "You want me to say it? Okay. Horriffic."
He then goes on to say there could be an upset tonight.
Interviewer: "Who would be the upset?'
Simon: "Kris. Because he didn't come in as the favorite. But Ain't No Sunshine was good. (To Randy) Right?"
Randy: "Yeah. Good."

I'm back, I was watching Glee that I had recorded last night. I needed to pass the time!
I did see the backstage interview. So adorable.
And I agree about the Kara song being a handicap. TIme of My Life ended up being a pretty huge hit for Cook, but, and I can't believe I'm saying that, the song was so much better than No Boundaries. At least, pretty much everyone agrees on that!
