Hm. I don't know offhand who maintains it. It's a woman, I know that - it's the same person who did the LLWD map. I think the name may have been on that (LLWD) site. Maybe tomorrow I'll search my favorites for that. But it says you can leave a comment, so maybe they read the comments?

It's so weird to see Hedley and Faber Drive on the same playlist as Kris. Worlds are colliding again.

It's cool that people in the US (on the border) have been hearing Hedley and FD on their radios.

So there is a rumor that Kris might be opening for Lifehouse on that September tour. That would be awesome, but it's only a rumor.

ETA. Well, now. Lizzie told some fans from the Pacific Northwest that the tour is supposed to be taking Kris there. And look what I see. But this would be too early in September. Hm. They could make a swing back that way, I guess.

It's about 8:35; I'm waiting for 9:00 when the countdown is on. The Truth is on the countdown at #18, according to the posters at MJ's. (Meanwhile, there's "Jumpstart," where I just saw Train doing their songs live. Not really live, but you know what I mean. Live-on-film?)

Just watched Don't Look Back In Anger with Kris and his opener, Chris. From Orlando, last night. I'm neutral on the guy but many Kris fans really like him. I can't really get into his voice but some people you need to warm up to, so who knows?

I just saw Kris's video on VH1!!!

Okay, big deal, right? Why is that in boldface? Because it is so much better on TV! The sound is better (my laptop speakers can't compare to the TV speakers) and it looks more imoressive. That is a good video.

I'm now watching the Lady Antebellum video for I Run To You. Seems like backwards-running girls are the latest thing. Somebody else has that in their video. The Maine, I think.

Impressive, not imoressive. I thought I corrected that.

I don't have a wide screen or flat screen TV at all. But even on my old TV (at least it has a pretty big screen), the wide-screen video looked really great. Being directed by a cinematographer doesn't hurt, I guess.

We don't get any version of VH1 - but I noticed that the VEVO version of the video has the most hits from Canada - maybe they're all me.. lol :) But I don't think so since it's Canadian males from 13-17 - I don't fit that category.

Scary fans are scary. I feel sorry for Adam for that. I'm glad he's got lots of fans, I just wish they weren't so nuts sometimes.

I watched most of the songs from last night, it had been a while since I had done that. IIO is just the awesomest thing that ever awesomed.

I'm totally against paying for fanclub membership. I've been a Hanson fan for a long time, but I never paid to be a member of the fanclub. Produce music and I'll buy it, otherwise, forget it.

I can't believe that "lanoitanretni ratsrepus" Adam Lambert is playing the Hampton Beach Casino. I am dying to know what some of the camp-following members of the Glambert(TM) organization think of the venue. But I can't bring myself to go into their thread.

Those Russian dolls are hilarious. Or cute. Both hilarious and cute.

There were some great tweets from the Maroon 5 concert tonight. Do Kris and his band seem to be suddenly taking off, a bit? Or is it all in my mind? I don't want to say it and jinx it. lol

It just seems things are progressing, getting more exciting. And then tonight - a lot of non-fan attention, considering he's just the opener for Maroon 5. People who refer to him as "Chris", for ex., say he's "amazing," a "pleasant surprise," and has a great voice. Some people just say they "became Kris Allen fans" tonight. Maybe people exaggerate. But I was just thinking that I never became a fan of any opening act I ever saw. Not really.

If Rolling Stone were smart they’d put that gumby/limbo pic of Adam on the cover. There’d be a stampede to mag sections all over the country. (Their posed pics are so boring.)

Granted, a couple of his more rational fans came back at this and said bad behavior shouldn't be tolerated or encouraged.

That cover was disgusting. I hate blood. It was kind of a funny picture to me with naked people intertwined, and all the blood, and then the perfect coiffures, especially the blond guy. Hahaha.

I agree. About the cover and Adam. But you know the Glamberts think the whole world is as into Adam as they are.

I may have to vote a lot for The Truth this week. A real lot.

Melinda Green (Top Idol) was at the Noitanmalg concert tonight. Wonder what she'll have to say? I dislike how she makes fun of the age and the weight of Adam's fans -- easy enough to do if you happen to be young and thin, right? I hope she doesn't go there.

Apparently Adam had to come out and sign at the busses tonight because the fans were getting a bit raucous. I told you Hampton Beach is not exactly demure.

I agree. I mean, I might laugh at how they're dressed, because some of them actually decide to wear tacky stuff, but what bothers me about the "stans" as some call them is the inappropriate behavior (like running around the hotel to find Adam, or just pushing people around at concerts, etc). And inappropriate behavior doesn't come only from the "old", overweight fans.

I had the RS magazine in my hands earlier tonight, and I couldn't take my eyes off the cover, the picture is both creepy and sexy.

I'm against paying for fanclubs too.. doesn't mean I haven't done it. :) I did get several CD's out of the deal, but not worth the $$$ for sure. Especially since like the itunes pass video stuff, it all ends up on youtube.

What I guess I find surprsing is how many actors are willing to do shots like that, now. (Nude, and touching other people's bodies) I suppose some people refuse to, but we don't see them so we don't know about it! Like the Ben/Justin/What's-her-name picture (IICD cast - naked threesome) not too long ago. And then we have someone like Kris, who is the opposite.

The picture is a little sexy to me but the blood is gross.

You're right - what bothers me most about the crazy fans is the inappropriate behavior. Also, the entitled behavior.

Otherwise I just don't like snobbishness about weight, looks, age, and things like that.

(Also, I don't like how someone like Didi gets called Drunki, by Melinda. That just bugs the crap out of me whenever I read it. But on the other hand I find Smug Teen Witch hilarious. It depends, I guess.)

SleepinIn, I don't know if Adam regularly signs. I've heard nothing about it but I get the impression it isn't a regular thing? I don't think he makes a practice of it like Kris. I think for instance we would see a lot more pics of Adam with fans, if he did. Seems that I read tonight on his thread that you have to pay for VIP tickets to get to do a meet and greet with him, for his next couple of shows. This is what Hedley does now, but they sure didn't start out that way.

As for Kris, things getting more exciting, and the reasons: The second video, you think? I think that may have to do with it. But I think momentum happens. The Adam thing is unnatural, really, it's been well engineered or it just happened - that he's selling out immediately, and so forth. I think the Kris thing is way more typical. You do a good job and eventully it starts to get noticed, and you start climbing. You get more fans, build a following. Some good reviews and a few good breaks don't hurt. Etc.

Yeah, the blood is gross, but since I know it's not real blood, it's easier to forget it! And actually, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer (the brown haired guy) got married today (well, yesterday now). Which makes it a bit weirder actually.

Crazy and entitled is a very bad mix.

I really don't like the names they get called at all. I mean, yes sometimes it is funny, but then you've got to think that these people and their family and friends are going to read these things and feel bad, so I don't really like it in general.

ETA: so sorry Tatiana for calling you a kook. (oops!)
