Oh, I'm not watching, but LLWD made an appearance on Dancing With the Stars. I don't think they use the originals on that show though and it was supposedly really bad.

That's pretty cool that they danced to it, too bad they were bad. I didn't see it - I haven't watched DWTS in a really long while. One of the Idol band people plays in that band though. And also Kelly Clarkson and David Cook songs? (from Twitter)

It's also cool that LLWD was #1 in recurrents. Numbers are so arbitrary but whatever #1 sounds good to me. LOL

Just watched the LLWD DWTS thing at Ricky's -- Oh it's REALLY not good. Like horrific bad.

Soundcheck is complete. Chris is in the house but isn't performning tonight. Just Kris and Cale.

OMG it IS Idol night on DWTS. Kate G just danced to FYE. I might need to see this.

Sounds good to me, too.

Sort of OT, but Tom Bergeron, the host of DWTS, started out as host of Granite State Challenge, a show on Public TV in New Hampshire (NH = "The Granite State"), which was a low-budget quiz show that pitted two teams of 4 kids (representing their high schools) against each other. I used to watch the show just because he was so funny. The show is still on, and the guy who took Tom's place is still the host, he never made it to Hollywood!

What else do I remember Tom Bergeron on? DWTS, AFHV and what was the other thing? Or was there another thing? I would not have seen Granite State. ;) Just stand up maybe?

The local Fox station is at the Hard Rock tonight. Gonna interview Kris.

Looks like the next single is between TT (new version) and AWM.

And this is the modernized version. lol. Very low budget.

My point was this was the humblest of shows and this guy (Bergeron) became huge, but even back then we could tell he had something special. (My mother and I used to watch the show together. I was a kid.) In fact, he was a lot funnier on GSC than he has ever been since. He became much more generic on the network shows.
