Yeah, I don't know how they managed that what with the Saline Summer Days Festival thing contract wise - but I'm glad he got to sing for them, I'm sure the people would have been dissappointed if he hadn't.

I couldn't believe those Saline people weren't going to let Kris sing. It's a charity event. Sign a freaking waiver.

I know what you mean. There isn't one that I love. Crystal's the closest, but even then.. I'm kinda meh about her. Last year I started with Danny, moved on to Anoop, then went to Adam and Allison and KRIS!!!! and I liked Matt at times.. and the tour.. they were all so nice. Seriously I'm overinvested in Season 8. :)

Wow. All three girls are safe. There must be much rejoicing behind the scenes.

Oh, and ADAM is coming to mentor them next week... SURPRISE!

Jason Derulo can't sing. It shakes my faith in Kara.

I guess they are doing a show after the bare foot walk. Kris just tweeted about the first 1200 to show for the walk get tickets to the show after.

Thanks for that. Soooo good.

I'm now watching Jason Derulo. He's not bad, at least he can sing live. He sounds about like he sounds on the radio.

What strikes me once again is how many of these artists they have on, who do r & b and have backup dancers, etc. And so few of the artists who do things like sing a song sitting at the piano. I wonder why they don't have more HAC artists on.

Do you think it's weird that Archie is there? Why not Blake? I mean, last year, Archie was the previous year's runner up. This year, he's the two-years-ago runner up. Is he going to be on every year?

I like Archie? He looks a little more grown-up. Most likely wouldn't buy his music. And kinda, sorta HATE Blake. Oh god, they'll probably have Blake on.

Remind me not to watch if they do.

They didn't have Blake last year, I doubt they'll have him back ever, unless he ends up with a hit song.

Oh Rhianana is a rock star now. Good to know. I love how they emphasize lyrics and connection to the Idol peeps and then the guest singers come on and sing nonsense.

The (kind of) ironic thing about this show is that if Kris was not the AI winner he'd be on this week to sing his hit single (of course, he wouldn't have a hit single if he wasn't the AI winner, because he'd be going to college in Arkansas).

See if you agree with me or not (I suspect, not): I really need Kris to get back with his band, and give us some non-acoustic, "bigger" music. I just feel this really strongly. I don't want to see another performance where he looks like he just came back from ministering to the heathens and is performing in the church hall for 40 people.

I'm glad Andrew is safe. Are they going to save Michael? Any bets?

Is Andrew a case of someone who is not an internet favorite but a fan favorite. Because I never read anything positive about him on MJ's blog, for instance. Or hardly ever.

I hate the judges' save, btw. Why are people's votes meaningless?
