I guess I don't know how this relates to median age, to be honest with you. Unless it means the older people are, the stupider they are!

No, I didn't mean it like that. LOL I can't explain it properly but Missaddicted did a good job. It's really just comes down to marketing in the end. If the teens buy into it, then the median age goes down.

I know when Jacob was on Idol I was talking to my boss about him because she was also a big fan her kids were teens at the time - they weren't at all interested in him. It took awhile for them to come around. Then they stole her CD's. :) So if they can attract the younger fans, and keep the older fans it's a good thing. But coming off Idol doesn't generally give you a lot of younger fans. Although Kris seems to have a lot of younger fans. It's interesting.

But Kris, I do know, and I don't think anyone expected him to go country.

If you talked to him you wouldn't -- but I can't count the number of people who commented that they thought he'd make a country CD. Including his hometown radio station. I think that was the accent though.. it threw people off. ;)

NEW SONGS!!!!!!!!!! Oh Asia.. I hope you get I Need to Know.

Thanks for the interview! "Who are you a fan of right now?" she asks. Then she completely ignores him! Twit!!

Yeah, I'm a closet Glambert!!!!

No! I went there just to see what kid of an "organized effort" they're making. As you see, they even know ways of increasing Adam's soundscan numbers. To tell you the truth, I don't know where the fun is in being that kind of fan, do you? Seems more like war.

I also was curious about something else. Someone on the blog last week took umbrage at MJ saying that Kris's fans had made an "organized effort" to vote hiim to #1. She stood by it, and said she had seen some things on twitter urging people to vote for Kris. I saw these tweets too. But does that constitute an "organized" effort? I don;t see how it could. So I wanted to see what kind of organized effort Adam's fans had made.

If you talked to him you wouldn't -- but I can't count the number of people who commented that they thought he'd make a country CD. Including his hometown radio station. I think that was the accent though.. it threw people off.

I never saw any comment from anyone assuming he'd do a country CD. So I'll take your word for it. I did see comments suggesting he should go country (never from his fans). But that's not the same thing.

Adam seems to attract the excitable fans, maybe that's the difference. Just watching MOD, they were hysterical. I hope to god I'd never get like that for anyone. As much as I like Kris I think you having a calm conversation with him was so much cooler than if you'd screamed in his face for 20 minutes.

But hysteria spreads faster. :)

The Grammy cast interview was a total fail - except Kris was hilarious - but the interviewers were clueless.

Cale's having a twitter party.. he's bored :) (he's also hilarious - love him)

Who, the kids inside or the ladies outside? I've seen them scream for Hedley. I'm pretty sure if Kris got the "Adam build up" on MOD, they'd scream for him, too, don't you? I don't know, of course.

I don't know either. But it wasn't a usual reaction at MOD. It was probably less of a reaction than Beiber got, but it was the same kind of teenage girl hysteria. And yes probably if Kris had gotten the build up that Adam did the reaction would be the same.

BWAH! An answer about AOL.. lol

@Mer89 when are the AOL sessions coming out? i don't freaking know! we wanna see them more than you guys do! I PROMISE!

Yay! Good question!

@asidahxzxz is the @krisallenband permanent? i think so! we all love playing together and the guys are crazy talented

The AOL sessions aren't anything I worry about. I know this probably sounds weird, but I can't get anxious about such stuff. If they show them, fine; if not, fine. It's only a few songs. I don't think it'll be anything earth shattering. Good publicity, though.

I'm glad that the band is permanent! I thought so, didn't you? They seem compatible.

I like how Kris looks at that Grammy party. (I don't know why he doesn't shave his Adam's apple but shaves the rest of his neck, though. WTF?) People on MJ's blog are critiquing him and Adam, etc. I don't know what to make of Adam nowadays. He's sort of snuck more and more makeup on and more flashy clothes, post Idol, and he just reminds me of Liberace (or sometimes Liza). He's more fem now; he was more masculine looking on Idol.

Hee! I liked his answer about the voting too. :) Cale rocks.

I don't necessarily worry about the AOL sessions I just WANT TO SEE them. ARGH!

Re: The band being permanent. I hoped so for sure, they seemed really compatible and tight when they played together, but then there was the Reel Big Fish - so there was a bit of doubt in my mind about Ryland joining them on tour, but it wouldn't make sense to audition a drummer for a tour and tv shows etc. if they couldn't do the job so I hoped they were permanent.

Adam just likes clothes and costumes. He's said it himself - he likes dressing up. So you've got Kris who could care less about clothes and Adam who would probably dress up as a cat if it suited his mood. I think it's kinda funny. Idol was never the forum for OTP fashion especially since he was still standing beside the closet.

What's OTP?

Well, you know...if he had remained the same all along...I don't care in what guise, just the same...that would sit better with me. As it is, I think he was putting on an act of being more "straight" than he is, and that just bugs me. Can't help it. It's false.

I posted very late last night. Did you mean OTT, SleepinIn? I was actually clueless (and tired). Not being a wiseass. If it came across that way.

On the other hand, "standing beside the closet" made sense to me, for some reason (yup, now I am being a wiseass). I think you made that one up. :p

Who is Clive Davis, by the way? I suppose I could look him up but I'm lazy. Oh, okay, I'll look him up.

If you insist.

Clive Davis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So that's who Clive Davis is! I thought with the name "Clive," he'd be British.

So... Kris and the band (who I don't actually like to call "crack" -- how about arcck? Nah, guess not) will be in the "far east" very soon. Mucho excitamento!

The top picture was on MJ's blog, but I found the one below it somewhere else.

I also meant to say, Kris sounded over-tired in that interview at the Davis party. I noticed the slightly slurry speech again. Like someone who's been up for 24 hours but trying not to show it. Also, he looked bushed at the swag event.

[Kris with someone around his own age who actually must sleep occasionally. Click on it to enlarge.]

When I met Kris (sorry, but I always think of this) he was surprisingly slight-looking and almost "delicate"looking. Thinner than he looks on TV, not especially robust. I think he needs a rest. How he's going to get one, I don't know. He looks like he's not sleeping well, maybe. Kind of pallid, slight circles under his eyes, and his hair looks dull. Not the super-healthy guy we saw a year ago at this time. Just saying. (I don't want to sound like a "concerned" troll, here. lol)

I wish he could find the time to have a getaway near home. Maybe when he gets back from Asia. I mean, Asia and New York. Asia and New York and the Meet Ball.
Maybe.

Santa Barbara is pretty close by...

Or Ojai...

I did. LOL - it was very late when I posted too.

I think Kris Allen Nation closed not long after the finale, The website remained but they didn't update it. So I guess it's gone for good now. :(

I don't know how they're going to get any sleep either, their trip to Asia is jam packed. I wonder when they leave?

Cale was saying they were practicing new songs, so they've probably put long hours in at rehearsal and then Kris has all these Grammy functions he has to attend. They might be glad to get to Asia for a rest.
