Oops, sorry -- all the pics are at MJ's blog. He doesn't look all that different from usual, I just thought the comment was snarky/funny. I laughed.

I know I've talked a lot about HBIC lately, but I just have to add: he used to be good looking. Now, he just looks silly. Come on, Adam, is it all about getting attention? What about looking attractive?

As for Kris, he needs to be dressed by someone and I don't think his wife is the one, since she seems to let him out of the house like that. I don't think he looked bad, yesterday, but he didn't look as good as he could have. He needed a dressier shirt. And a belt. It's like he hasn't settled on a look, yet. He looks good casual, he should be able to look as good dressed up. It's wasting an opportunity, when thousands of people are going to see your picture.

A lot of the attendees just had a good suit and a tie on. He looks good like that, he should try it.

I loved Pink! And her "costume" was like those figure skating costumes, made with skin-colored fabric. You couldn't really see through it, could you?

Actually, I can't say I'm a big fan of many of the artists that are there, but I'm enjoying the performances. Except Beyonce doing Alanis. No thanks, Beyonce. Lady Antebellum were cool, I kind of liked their song.

The Ke$ha-Beiber pairing though? That was weird.

Who is this Jennifer Nettles person? I recognize her from the crowd and she's not bad, but I have no idea who she is.

Yeah, it's amazing how Taylor Swift is so popular when there's really nothing particularly enjoyable about her voice... when she actually sings on key. She's still a complete unknown here in Québec, but American country artists never make it here.

I have no clue who Jennifer Nettles is. That was the girl who performed with Bon Jovi, right?

I admit the Earth Song this was in theory a good idea (and the song still gives me chills, I used to listen to it on repeat when I was a kid), but I'm quite sure most people didn't have the 3D glasses to enjoy the whole thing. It's just looked really weird on my TV. Also, I had an uneasy feeling when they brought his kids out.

I'm with SleepinIn, I thought the Dave Matthews Band performance was one of the best of the night! And their album is the only one I have among those that were nominated for Album of the Year. At least, The BEP didn't win that, I would've been offended.

Quentin Tarentino talking ghetto was bizarre! And they bleeped the hell out of the Lil Wayne-Eminen-Drake performance (that I started fast-forwarding at one point).

Hm. Was this a late response to what I wrote upthread? lol! I don't know.

If it was, then, I like casual Kris the best also. But, career-wise, I think at a semi-formal event in Beverly Hills, where a lot of guys wore tuxes, or suits and ties, and women wore gowns, it would have been good to dress like he belonged there. Either play the game or don't go to the party. If you want to be a star, fine, if not, nobody's going to care, they'll just move on to the next guy. Step up, Kris! No hate, just fact.

Adam looked ...I don't know, to me? ridiculous again. Lately he always looks like Sammy Spear (a very obscure reference! Haha. He was Jackie Gleason's orchestra leader. Every week Jackie would announce, "Sammy Spear and His Orchestra!" and the camera would cut to Sammy, smiling, always wearing a different sparkly tux jacket. Then Gleason would comment on the outfit.)

My fashion critique. Such as it is.

I hated the tie - yuck - and the heels were too much. But I liked the jacket. (I don't even know what was happening with the eyebrows in that picture - randomly weird)

and okay Kris can step it up a bit at award thingy's - maybe shave the neck.. lol.


AJ in the morning interview from the Grammys.. remember them? They talked about the interview went bad. :p Kris was really funny. Not a fan of Avril as a judge. :) And I think we all knew that Kris and Katy were thrifty, no Grammys for them.

Actually the more I look at Kris at the Clive thing, I think he looked great. He just needed a better shirt and a belt. I think I said this originally. I have now come full circle. Thanks very much.

Adam just...I don't know. I have a feeling the tranny look has limited appeal. Plus, he's good-looking. He's basically hiding his good looks. But he's "being himself," so I guess that's what counts.
